More information about BROMMA can be found onwww.bromma.com Purpose of the position The Product Management Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the successful lifecycle management of Bromma's crane spreaders product line. This role requires strong technical expertise, coupled with good business analytical and project management capabilities. The Product Management Specialist will be responsible for conducting market research, analyzing competitor offerings, supporting the development and maintenance of product information, pricing strategies and special project management . This position demands strong collaboration across departments. The Product Engineer will liaise with sales, marketing, engineering, and operations to gather insights, recommend product enhancements ensure product success and customer satisfaction.. This includes addressing customer concerns promptly and providing ongoing support to the sales and marketing teams through training and presentations. Main tasks and responsibilities Market Research & Analysis: + Conduct in-depth market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscapes. + Analyze market data to identify opportunities for product improvement and new product development. + Monitor competitor activities, including new product launches, pricing strategies, and market share. + Track key market indicators, such as market share, and sales volume Product Management & Development: + Develop and present business cases for new product development and product enhancements. + Develop and maintain comprehensive product knowledge, including technical specifications, and cost information. + Support the development and maintenance of the CPQ software, especially the product configurator, + Contribute to the development of new product concepts and features. + Conduct product studies and research to identify areas for improvement and innovation. Technical Documentation & Support: + Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation, including product information sheets, and sales materials. + Write and maintain technical specifications for new and existing products. + Provide technical support to sales teams and customers. + Conduct customer interviews to gather feedback and understand their specific needs. Pricing & Cost Management: + Participate in the development and management of product pricing strategies. + Support sales with data analysis in price negotiation. + Conduct cost analysis and identify opportunities for cost reduction. + Manage option packages and ensure profitability. + Monitor and control product costs. Project Management & Continuous Improvement: + Manage and execute product-related projects, such as product launches, product improvements, and cost reduction initiatives. Sales & Marketing Support: + Develop and deliver sales presentations and training materials. + Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns. + Provide support to the sales team during customer meetings and demonstrations. What you’ll need to succeed + Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering or any related field. + Good technical knowledge, preferably in industrial equipments : mechanical design, hydraulics, electronics and control system + Strong analytical skills. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Capable of effectively interacting and influencing internal and external stakeholders. + Strong project management and organizational skills. + Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and show initiative in identifying and addressing challenges.
