Your role and responsibilities

As Product Management Specialist you will be part of an Agile Team with the responsibility to develop products & solutions in the field of intelligent motor management devices and solutions. The related product portfolio is a part of the Control Agile Unit within the Smart Power Division.The work model for the role is: onsiteYou will be mainly accountable for:• Understanding and following global or assigned area standards, market and customer requirements, and their impact on the current offer portfolio.• Conducting valuation of market size and trends, as well as competitor analyses including identification of offering gaps and evaluating ABB’s market standing.• Ensuring whether technical solutions can be used across the Product Group’s offer portfolio to the maximum possible extent.• Managing the technical specification of the assigned products and supporting the Product Manager in developing the business case on offer developments, maintenance, and cost reduction.

Qualifications for the role

Bachelor's or master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Automation Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similarExperience with intelligent industrial electronic products and their PLC/DCS integration with industrial Ethernet protocols. Know-how in device integration technologies like FDI/DTM/OPC-UA technologies is a plusExperience in product management working in electrification/automation business and having experience about intelligent industrial electronic products, holding a technical background.Resilient in an agile and changing environment, and structured and able to grasp the bigger picture.Fluency in English and German, written and spoken alike
