Product Management professionals leverage data and analysis to balance profit & growth of our insurance products, collaborating with business partners to reach outlined goals & objectives. As a Product Management intern/co-op, you will have the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of fast-paced projects and training. **What Will You Do?** + Complete challenging and meaningful work + Work alongside experienced employees within your business unit + Quantify the impact of pricing and underwriting decisions + Analyze the marketplace first-hand through competitor and industry data + Participate in the negotiation of pricing decisions with various stakeholders + Research and analyze industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes + Collaborate with Finance, Actuarial, Field Sales, Research and Development, Risk Management, Claim, and other business partners + Participate in the introduction of new products and enhancements + Perform other duties as assigned **What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?** + We are most interested in students who are serious about entering the insurance industry and who are passionate about learning and self-development + Students completing their undergraduate degree or college diploma who are in their second to last or final year. Suggested majors: Actuarial Science, Finance, Economics, Mathematics/Statistics, Risk Management and Insurance, Engineering, Other Business-Related Majors + Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Office and Access + Demonstrated leadership skills + Strong problem-solving skills + Strong verbal and written communication skills + Ability to deal with concepts and complexity comfortably, and exhibit the ability to drill down on information and draw conclusions. + Involvement in extracurricular activities + Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above **What is a Must Have?** + Candidate must be pursuing an undergraduate degree or college diploma + Legally eligible to work in the Canada. **What Is in It for You?** + **Health Insurance:** Employees and their eligible family members – including spouses, partners, and children – are eligible for coverage from the first day of employment. + **Retirement:** Travelers provides a core contribution of 3% of your total eligible earnings to your Deferred Profit Sharing Plan (“DPSP”).
