Product Manager, Connect Growth
**About the Role** As a Product Manager on the Uber Connect team, you will help build one of Uber's fastest-growing independent lines of business "on-demand delivery" that provides consumers and businesses around the world with access to Uber's best in class logistics network. With our product, Uber enables consumers to use the Uber app to get their dry cleaning dropped off and their returns completed in-store or sent via UPS. You will be responsible for the strategy to drive growth in key user segments by creating affordable and efficient ways to reach our audience, ensuring each delivery is on time and cost-effective for users. **What the Candidate Will Do** The Uber Connect world is vast and we are only just getting started. This is a representative sampling of the areas you might be tackling on the team: - Build Uber Connect to be the most efficient and cost effective delivery solution by innovating on the Uber marketplace. - Ensure that users have the most affordable product that suits their needs, while ensuring 100% of deliveries are completed on time. - Define the roadmap and lead execution of products that impact drivers, couriers, riders and eaters across mobility and delivery marketplaces. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Design, Data Science, and Marketing, to identify growth opportunities, develop product initiatives, and implement data-driven experiments to improve key growth metrics. **Basic Qualifications** - Minimum 4+ years product management experience delivering successful and innovative products with your fingerprints all over them - Proven track record to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical team members up to and including the executive-level. This will be an extremely cross-functional role, with more than a handful of core stakeholder teams. - Customer obsession. The ability to take on complex product challenges and find elegant, simplifying solutions to avoid making them our users and partner’s problems - Entrepreneurial spirit and a thirst for learning with an academic background or equivalent work experience in computer science, data science, statistics, economics or engineering. **Preferred Qualifications** - Experience building products from 0-1 - Fulfillment and/or Marketplace experience. You would have directly worked on fulfillment, logistics, delivery or other last mile problems, or have strong knowledge of how marketplaces (where multiple parties transact on a platform you’ve had a hand in building) work. - Strong analytical and experimentation background - Owning and leading strategy for line of business For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$149,000 per year - USD$165,500 per year. For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$149,000 per year - USD$165,500 per year. For Seattle, WA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$149,000 per year - USD$165,500 per year. For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
