General Summary:
We’re looking for a motivated Product Manager to join our Developer Relations team. In this pivotal role, you’ll focus on shaping Developer Relations partner programs, ecosystem development and scaling. You will drive initiatives to better understand developer needs, identify opportunities for improvement, and align our developer products with real-world use cases.
This role combines industry and developer research, strategic planning, program management, business development, and partner outreach, creating a direct impact on Qualcomm’s perception among developers, partners and customers.
Responsibilities:
Partner Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for identifying, onboarding, and managing strategic, symbiotic partners (ISVs, cloud providers, developer-tools, framework, model-makers, observability, etc.).
This cuts across all developer-first Qualcomm offerings, such as (but not limited to) Compute/Windows ecosystem, Internet of Things, Mixed Reality, Gaming, Industrial automation.
Build joint initiatives with partners to amplify developer engagement and drive product awareness, adoption and marquee applications. Develop Partnership Roadmaps: Create strategic engagement plans for different partner segments, outlining joint objectives, milestones, and timelines. Business Development: Lead discussions with prospective partners to negotiate terms and establish win-win relationships that support developer adoption. Market Research: Analyze industry trends and ecosystem dynamics to continuously refine the partnership strategy and identify emerging opportunities.
Ecosystem development:
Program Creation: Design and launch initiatives that enhance the developer ecosystem, such as co-development projects, partner-driven workshops, and hackathons.
Tooling & Platform Integration: Work with engineering teams to onboard third-party tools and solutions that enhances the overall developer experience and extend Qualcomm platform capabilities for developers and customers.
Community Building: Foster a sense of collaboration and knowledge sharing by creating engagement channels for partners and developers to connect and collaborate.
Scaling Global Initiatives: Collaborate with regional teams to localize and activate programs tailored to the needs of developers across different markets.
Program Management
Launch Partnership Programs: Define, build, and manage scalable programs that provide technical, marketing, and business support for developers and partners.
Beta Program Management: Partner with Developer Advocates to create and manage a beta feedback program, allowing early access to features for select external developers who provide critical insights before public release.
Ambassador Program Management: Partner with Developer Advocates to create and manage a Developer Ambassador program, identifying infrastructure required and ensuring the program kicks off and then runs smoothly.
Operational Execution: Oversee day-to-day program operations, including partner onboarding, resource allocation, and event planning.
Metrics & KPIs: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess program success, including developer engagement, partner satisfaction, and adoption metrics.
Continuous Improvement: Gather feedback from partners and internal stakeholders to refine and optimize programs over time.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Align with Product & Engineering: Work closely with product and engineering teams to ensure partner solutions are aligned with product roadmaps and technical requirements.
Collaborate with Marketing: Partner with marketing teams to develop co-marketing initiatives, case studies, and joint campaigns that highlight the value of ecosystem partnerships.
Developer Relations Support: Ensure that partnership programs integrate seamlessly with existing developer engagement initiatives.
Relationship Management
Partner Enablement: Provide technical and strategic support to partners to ensure successful integration and adoption of products and solutions.
Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for key ecosystem partners, managing relationships and addressing any challenges.
Co-Development Projects: Identify and manage collaborative development efforts with partners, ensuring timely delivery and mutual value creation.
Executive Reporting: Regularly present partnership outcomes, challenges, and recommendations to executive leadership
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Developer Relations (DevRel) or working closely with developer communities.Familiarity with developer tools, APIs, and technical ecosystems.Knowledge of product development processes and agile methodologies.Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Humanities, or related field.• 4+ years of Product Management or related work experience.

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:
$162,400.00 - $243,600.00The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm.
