Job Description
The Product Manager will support a portfolio of endoscopy video products for the Urology Visualization Marketing team. This includes product launch, lifecycle management, and commercial planning for a suite of multi-specialty technologies used in operating rooms and clinics in the U.S. market, e.g. endoscopy video towers, surgical cameras, advanced visualization technologies, content management solutions, and related accessories.
Job Duties Interface with cross-functional project teams, HCPs, and a direct sales force to commercialize core products that enable endoscopic visualization during surgical diagnosis and treatment of various urological diseases. Monitor market trends and competitive technologies to support strategic planning efforts. Analyze sales trends and update forecasts as necessary to meet demand and drive growth. Maintain your expertise as the product and clinical specialist by attending procedures, courses, and tradeshows to stay abreast of industry changes and advancements; travel into the field to work with sales reps, sales managers, and clinical team. Develop relationships and work closely with HCPs in clinical settings to understand unmet needs and compile voice of customer (VOC) feedback. Execute the regional tactics that support global marketing strategies e.g. pricing, positioning, sales programs and promotions that are in line with the strategic business plan. Create marketing collateral and tools that communicate the value proposition and empower sales to win. Develop and present training for sales and business partners to support product launch, new hire orientation, professional education, and other business learning opportunities. Collaborate with business partners in the industry that complement Olympus' products and/or help with promotional efforts. All other essential duties as directed. Job QualificationsRequired:
External Experience: BA/BS in Marketing or related field. Minimum of 5 years of product management experience, preferably in the healthcare space. Minimum of 3-6 years of experience with Master's/MBA Experience developing and implementing strategies based upon SWOT analyses and market assessments. Internal Experience: BA/BS in Marketing or related field Minimum of 3 years Olympus experience combined sales/marketing/operations/sales support/upstream/R&D/service. Minimum of 2 years Olympus combined experience as above with Master’s/MBAPreferred:
Strong technical aptitude in the areas of electronics and video is desired. Demonstrated ability to commercialize products and drive revenue growth in a competitive market.Why join Olympus?
