Danfoss, a leading supplier of energy-efficient drives to the water and wastewater industry, is seeking an experienced Product Manager for our new range of iC7-AQUA drives. Built on the latest Danfoss Drives platform, ‘iC7,’ this innovative product range is designed to meet the growing needs of our customers and the market.

 

We are looking for a motivated individual with a proven ability to work across multiple internal teams and directly with external partners and customers. The main focus of this role is to ensure the successful launch and commercial success of the iC7-AQUA product series.

Job Responsibilities

As Product Manager for iC7-AQUA, you will be responsible for setting the strategic direction, defining the product vision, and creating a strong value proposition through customer and market interaction. You will also ensure a smooth and successful launch strategy and support the sales ramp-up for the product series. Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners, you will:
 

Define and maintain the product vision and roadmap in collaboration with the Portfolio Manager, Product Owners, and other stakeholders. Build and consolidate market and customer insights through direct engagement with customers and sales regions, supporting the specification of product features. Ensure the product meets market requirements, that its value proposition is relevant, and provide inputs to the Product Owner (including standards, legislation, adaptations, and cost levels). Define and align go-to-market strategies with relevant stakeholders. Actively lead launch-related activities and milestone deliverables, ensuring marketing, sales support, and training materials are available. Promote the product internally and externally. Drive product pricing within the portfolio framework. Ensure the competitiveness of active products by: Analyzing current product performance and profitability. Taking corrective actions as needed. Work with Product Owners, Supply Chain, and Sales & Marketing to prioritize and deliver required updates or changes. Contribute to product lifecycle management, including phase-out and transition recommendations. Background & Skills

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications and attributes:
 

A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field. At least 5+ years of experience in a similar product management role, preferably within the drives industry or related sectors. Proven commercial expertise, including experience driving product launches, managing go-to-market strategies, and achieving strong business outcomes. A decisive team player with a positive attitude and the ability to influence and navigate within a global organization. A result-oriented, structured, and customer-focused mindset. Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal. A willingness to travel to support customers and sales in our global organization.
