Product Manager, InsurTech
**About the Role** Uber’s InsurTech team is responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences across mobile and web for Riders, Drivers, Eaters, and Businesses using Uber when things are not going as intended such as in case of accidents. We also provide product experiences to customer support teams and partner insurance carriers to help accelerate the insurance claims process. As a PM focusing on Claims Intelligence, you will be driving innovative data-driven product experiences in close partnership with data science and applied science teams at Uber. **What the Candidate Will Do** - Develop, articulate and execute a bold and visionary product strategy and roadmap for Claims Intelligence products - Work closely with cross-functional teams to define product requirements (PRDs), prioritize features, and deliver high-quality products that meet user needs and drive business objectives - Collaborate with engineering, data science and design teams to deliver high-quality, well-designed products that meet user needs and exceed business objectives **Basic Qualifications** - Minumum of 3 years experience as a technical Product Manager delivering highly successful ML/Data products at a tech company. - Computer Science or Engineering degree is required (Master's degree preferred). - Must have a strong technical background, preferrably with experience managing insurance-related products that involve ML/Data Engineering. - We don’t expect you to code, but you should feel comfortable discussing deep technical topics with engineering teams and the platform users. **Preferred Qualifications** - Familiarity with insurance claims process and actuarial concepts. - Ability to thrive in cross-functional environments and work backward from the needs of your customers to build solutions that scale. - Data-driven decision-making ability and a "driver" personality for pushing toward clarity and balancing the need for great collaboration. - High attention to detail and proven track record to multi-task and manage competing priorities. - Very strong communication skills, both written and verbal. - A passion for Uber's mission and technology-driven culture, along with a deep desire to grow and learn! For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$149,000 per year - USD$165,500 per year. For Sunnyvale, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$149,000 per year - USD$165,500 per year. For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
