The global Product Manager , Nominal Mass is responsible for establishing clear business justifications based on customer needs for future products, managing the product lifecycle from concept through end of life, and driving business decisions within the nominal mass product portfolio. This role owns a segment of the nominal mass portfolio and leads cross-functional teams to manage the business and define its future direction. This position offers opportunities for learning, innovation, and professional growth through strategic projects and collaboration across diverse functions.   This position is part of the Product Development Management Organization and will be located in either Framingham, Boston or Concord, Canada .      In this role, you will have the opportunity to:   + Financial Performance and Competitive Analysis: Monitor the financial performance of the Nominal Mass product lines to ensure business goals are met. Develop countermeasures for underperformance and track the competitive landscape, including competitor products, marketing activities, and performing win/loss analysis. + Strategic Business Planning: Generate and execute strategic business plans for the current commercial portfolio. This involves understanding and addressing the changing needs of the most attractive segments, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives . + Product Development and Market Research: Plan and execute market research to identify and validate business opportunities. Interact with internal and external customers globally to understand valuable problems and unmet needs, and collaborate with internal partners to develop product concepts and business cases. + Product Lifecycle Management: Manage all aspects of product lifecycle, from concept through end-of-life. This includes monitoring product quality in collaboration with Operations and Service partners and being accountable for key aspects of product commercialization to ensure success in meeting revenue goals. + Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Collaborate with internal partners and provide frequent updates to leadership and key stakeholders on product development progress and strategic business plans, ensuring alignment and transparency throughout the process. The essential requirements of the job include: + Bachelor’s Degree required . + Minimum of 7 years’ experience within a Science/Engineering or Marketing/Business role. Product Management experience required . + Demonstrated intimate knowledge of Liquid Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry, and their application in Pharma/Biopharma, Food/Beverage, Clinical, Environment, and/or Forensics. + Experience influencing in a global environment, leading cross-functional teams without direct management responsibilities. + Proven track record of managing multiple projects/tasks at a high level in a fast-paced, performance-oriented environment. Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: + Onsite designation in Concord (Toronto), ON or Framingham (Boston), MA . + International travel up to 30% may be required . It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: + Experience working with competitive intelligence tools and methodologies to drive business decisions. + Prior experience in strategic marketing, product development, or commercialization within the analytical instrumentation industry. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
