Product Manager, PAM - Local Trans & Supply Chain
Amazon.com
Amazon Supply Chain forms the backbone of the fastest growing ecommerce business in the world. The sheer growth of the business and the company's mission "to be Earth’s most customer-centric company” makes the customer fulfillment business bigger and more complex with each passing year.
Planning Automation team (PAM) is at center of the Supply Chain. We build optimization models that help our stakeholders create Supply Chain plans which are optimal for customer speed and cost while respecting all operational constraints in our network.
Our models are currently used in EU and NA networks (300+ fullfilment centers) with goal to expand globally. At the same time, our mission is to continuously improve our models so that they drive the right business decision as Amazon continues to optimize and grow its Supply Chain.
Key job responsibilities
We are now seeking an experienced Product Manager to help us scale our product offerings for worldwide operations. This is a Day 1 opportunity to be part of an entrepreneurial and pioneering team building from the ground up. As a Product Manager II, you will be at the forefront of defining the vision, strategy, and roadmap for key product features that enhance our supply chain planning and operational automation capabilities.
In this role, you will:
Define the product strategy, feature design, and customer experience for critical supply chain planning and optimization products. You will work independently to deliver the right solutions for our customers.
• Develop a deep understanding of our customers' needs through workshop, usability studies, and close collaboration. Use these insights to drive the product roadmap and feature prioritization.
• Effectively communicate the product vision, roadmap, and feature updates to cross-functional stakeholders including engineering, sales, and executive leadership.
• Drive the successful delivery of new product features, including managing the launch process, collecting customer feedback, and driving ongoing improvements.
• Mentor and develop more junior product managers, sharing your expertise in product management best practices.
Why Join Us:
• Autonomy and ownership to solve challenging problems that directly impact customers.
• Critical role in driving decision-making for WW Operation teams.
• Be part of a dynamic team committed to continuous improvement and innovation.
A day in the life
We’re looking for a self-starter with a passion for creative solutions, who can serve as an advocate for our customers. You should have excellent writing skills, the ability to technically dive deep and work independently with both business and development teams, the desire to develop new ideas, and thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment. This position is for someone with a track record of understanding needs and delivering technology solutions to address those needs.
