The NCR Voyix Restaurant tech business is investing heavily in product innovation to maintain its leadership position in the market! Technology is central to helping restaurants manage their operations, grow their revenue, and drive engagement with their customers. NCR’s restaurant business is transforming, and we need strong product management to help us drive transformation. Our market-leading product portfolio includes point of sale, e-commerce, back-office solutions, data and analytics products, consumer engagement and marketing…everything that’s needed to run a restaurant end-to-end. We serve the largest global restaurant groups, along with local neighbourhood restaurants and everything in between.

The Product Manager, Product Management, Restaurant Back Office, role reports to the Executive Director, Product Management, Restaurant Back Office and Menu Solutions at NCR Voyix. The Product Manager is responsible for developing and executing the Back Office and Menu product strategy and roadmap for our next restaurant back-office solution. The solution uses latest technologies, including the use of AI/ML.  These capabilities drive tremendous value for our restaurant customers. They reduce low value tasks for restaurant managers, increase staff efficiency, and enable smarter decision making through real-time data analytics. The solution roadmaps are well funded, and role is highly visible to senior executive management given the domain criticality to our customers.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute product strategy for NCR's restaurant products.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product vision and roadmap.Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs and industry trends.Identify and prioritize product features and enhancements based on market demand and competitive landscape.Create and maintain product documentation, including product requirements, user stories, and use cases.Communicate product vision and roadmap to internal stakeholders and external clients.Work closely with development teams to ensure timely and successful product releases.Monitor and analyse product performance and make data-driven decisions to drive product improvements.Conduct regular meetings with clients to gather feedback and understand their needs and pain points.Keep up to date with industry developments and trends to continuously improve the product.Manage product budgets and resources effectively to ensure product success.Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies for new product releases.Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements for all product features and functionalities.Participate in industry events and conferences to represent NCR and promote our restaurant products.Assist with definition of pricing model based to properly position product within the market.Required SkillsA bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or product management, or a related field.5+ years of product ownership or product management experience. Must demonstrate fluency in inventory technology.Comfortable with navigating both the front end and the backend software implementations. Strong product management discipline in both discovery and execution.A deep understanding of the product vision, product launch, and other concepts is required.Ability to think strategically and drive ideas into action, with a positive outlook and willingness to take personal initiative.Track record of using quantitative and qualitative data to prioritize and make decisions.Excellent problem-solving skills and creativity.Grit and resilience.Excellent cross-functional team collaboration and influencing skills.Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).Proven track record of delivering results.Experience operating in Agile/SCRUM delivery methodology.

Preferred Skills

A master’s degree is preferred but not necessary in most cases.Experience with restaurant operations and/or technology is a plus!
