Title : Product Manager, Telemetry

Position Summary

The Product Manager, Telemetry will establish and grow a telemetry and product performance measurement platform service, shaping the future of Blue Yonder’s world-class end-to-end supply chain software solutions. This role manages telemetry across our platform and portfolio of SaaS, PaaS. You will maximize the value of the telemetry tool, driving critical insights that shape product strategy and inform market opportunities.

You will collaborate across software product development teams, aligning telemetry capabilities with product needs, while ensuring compliance with data collection, privacy, and reporting policies. In addition, you will contribute to strategic decision-making through actionable insights from telemetry data.

As part of the Experience Domain Group, this position plays a pivotal role in fostering cross-functional collaboration and accountability across Design, Product Management, and Engineering, driving efficiency and elevating the fidelity of our solutions.

Reporting to the VP, Growth Engineering, you will be part of a team that is committed to a strategic, holistic view of the experience organization—across Design, Product Management, and Engineer—to drive collaboration and accountability, increase the fidelity of our offerings, and optimize efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
 

• Strategic Development: Establish and manage a comprehensive telemetry strategy, maximizing ROI and delivering actionable insights to inform market opportunities and product evolution.
 

• Platform Management: Oversee telemetry deployment across SaaS, PaaS, aligning with business needs.
 

• Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (Product Management, Engineering, Design, Marketing, and Customer Success) to ensure telemetry adoption and maintenance, supporting product strategy and user needs.
 

• Compliance & Governance: Maintain adherence to data collection, privacy, and reporting policies, ensuring ethical and compliant telemetry practices.
 

• Roadmap: Define, publish, and update the telemetry roadmap, presenting progress and outcomes to leadership and stakeholders.
 

• Data Utilization: Translate telemetry data into actionable insights, driving informed decisions across product lifecycle stages.
 

• Evangelization: Advocate for the product vision, leveraging telemetry as a vehicle to align and prioritize strategic initiatives.
 

• Professional Development: Train and mentor teams on telemetry best practices, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making.
 

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a relevant field; Master’s degree is a plus.5+ years of experience in software product management, product engineering, or product design, with a focus on enterprise solutions.Expertise in telemetry tools, analytics, and platforms, with hands-on experience in monitoring, log management, data analytics, and visualization tools ( REQUIRED)No knowledge in Telemetry Tools will NOT be considered for this role.Deep Understanding of software architectures across SaaS, PaaS, and customer-hosted systems.Strong understanding of agile development environments, with experience in DevOps practices and tools.Knowledge of data privacy regulations, data governance, and ethical data collection.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and communicate results effectively to stakeholders.Proven leadership skills with a history of driving consensus and delivering successful outcomes in cross-functional teams.Experience with machine learning, artificial intelligence concepts, and their application in telemetry systems is a plus.

The salary range for this position is: USD $105,008.00 – $143,896.18

The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data.  Minimums and maximums may vary based on location.  Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors.  In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
