Product Manager, ThinPrep Instrumentation Marlborough, MA, United States We are looking for a Product Manager to lead our efforts in managing ThinPrep instrumentation product line, with responsibility over assigned products within the cytology diagnostics portfolio. This role is crucial for developing and executing product lifecycle strategy and U.S. commercial strategy . The ideal candidate will be responsible for both product lifecycle activities and U.S. commercial activities, including market and competitive analysis, customer needs assessment, business case development, product management and lifecycle management activities, and U.S. field support and commercial activities. **Responsibilities** : + Understand customer needs, the competitive and market landscape. + Define lifecycle product strategy, including obsolesce strategies. Leading collaboration with cross functional and international stakeholders to ensure successful execution of the strategy. + Develop and propose commercial programs to achieve U.S. commercial metrics. + Act as the internal product leader- representing voice of customer and interests of the business when working with key internal stakeholders such as R&D, operations, quality, regulatory, finance and sales. + Assist with qualitative and quantitative market research to develop new insights into the market. + Identify market opportunities, working with internal stakeholders, including international colleagues, to develop and present business cases to advance the portfolio. + Oversee product lifecycle process, drive product level changes, and communicate those changes to internal teams and customers. + Develop and implement strategic and tactical marketing plans for assigned products . Coordinate efforts of internal cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution of tactics and programs within specified budgets + Develop effective sales training tools and act as a resource for the U.S. sales team in interpreting guidelines, product benefits and competitive positioning. + Develop a keen understanding of relevant laboratory workflow and clinical data, collaborating to refine product positioning and message development. + Develop and monitor key product performance metrics. + Establish relationships with key customers to develop advocates and educate influential leaders on product performance. + Monitor and communicate competitive activity and market trends as well as formulating strategic responses. + Other duties as assigned + Act as primary contact for interactions with field-based reps about product related inquiries. **Qualifications:** + Understanding of the clinical diagnostic marketplace and customers. + Proficient project management skillset and proven success managing multiple projects simultaneously. + Effective communicator with a passion to collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders. + Customer centric mentality with drive to deeply understand the market, trends, and competitors. + Business acumen and proven marketing skillset + Proven ability to inspire, motivate and influence colleagues + Effective analytical skills, with technical acumen and proven sales/marketing skillset + Proven success leading cross-functional teams to deliver on committed project outcomes., + Can-do attitude and strong team-orientation + Demonstrated ability to both lead and follow cross-functional teams. + Proficient at presenting to audiences, including customers and executive leadership. + Willingness and ability to travel (by land and/or air) up to approximately 25% of the time, including some international travel, is needed **Education** + Bachelor’s degree marketing, IT, or equivalent field; or the equivalent combination of education and experience. **Experience** + 3+ years product management and/or marketing experience in medical device, diagnostics, or healthcare related field required. + Experience working with IT and networking within healthcare is a strong plus. **Additional Details** + This is a hybrid role with 3 days onsite per week in Marlborough, MA + Willingness and ability to travel (by land and/or air) up to approximately 25% of the time, including some international travel, as needed The annualized base salary range for this role is $111,000 to $173,700 and is bonus eligible.
