Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for an experienced Product Manager in the financial services industry. The role is hybrid, with the potential for working in Cleveland, Ohio, Columbus, or Minneapolis. As a Product Manager, you'll be an integral part of our team, defining the vision of our strategic initiatives, collaborating with various stakeholders, and helping to shape the customer experience.
Responsibilities
• Collaborate with the Credit Modernization Product Director, Design Director, and other stakeholders to define product features.
• Assist in defining the vision of strategic initiatives and document features in alignment with business requirements.
• Work closely with Product Owners and SMEs to understand business challenges, customer feedback, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Facilitate Discovery and Design Workshops, ensuring all requirements are documented in the Feature Brief.
• Create process maps and low-fidelity visuals/mock-ups to illustrate business processes and the end-to-end customer experience.
• Engage with Legal, Risk, and Compliance teams to obtain approval on all features.
• Act as the primary point of contact for Product Owners to clarify feature requirements and ensure alignment with acceptance criteria.
• Support Product Team, SMEs, and Technology partners throughout UAT Testing, Business Readiness, and Change Management activities.
• Assist Product Manager in post-production discussions, identifying functional gaps, and planning required remediation.
• Partner with Solution Leads to ensure the Tech Design delivers all elements of the Acceptance Criteria and identifies all impacted teams/cross-team dependencies. Requirements • Proven experience in Documentation, ensuring clear and concise representation of product details.
• Strong proficiency in Analytics, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Familiarity with Compliance procedures within the financial services sector.
• Experience in Design, particularly in relation to product development and improvement.
• Knowledge of Credit systems and processes, ideally within a financial services context.
• Excellent Communication Skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with different stakeholders.
• Experience with Cloud Technologies, including implementation and integration.
• Demonstrated ability in managing Integration processes, particularly in a tech-based environment.
• Ability to foster and maintain relationships with Partners, both internal and external.
• Commitment to Best Practices in all areas of product management.
• Proven track record in Closing deals or projects successfully.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and practices.
• Familiarity with the Financial Services sector and its unique requirements.
• Demonstrated experience in Change Management, ideally within a product development context.
• Knowledge of Underwriting processes and requirements.
• Understanding of Business Process Functions and their role in product management.
• Experience with JIRA or similar project management tools.
• Proficiency in UX design and principles.
• Experience in the Discovery phase of product development, including research and ideation.
• Ability to create effective Business Requirement Documents.
• Demonstrated ability to drive Innovation in product development.
• Experience in managing End-To-End product cycles.
• Familiarity with Remediation processes and best practices.
• Strong Facilitation skills, particularly in a team-based environment.
• Experience in creating Mockups for product design and development. Innovation starts with people.®
