Position Overview:
Product Manager – Automotive Sensors and Switches is a senior role responsible for\noverseeing and driving the success of the company’s products. This position\ncombines deep product knowledge with strategic oversight, leadership, and\ncross-functional collaboration to enhance product performance, meet market\ndemands, and support overall business objectives.

Location: Richardson TX


Work Schedule: 3/2 hybrid work schedule after\nyour 1st 90 days with Honeywell

Products that you will support: sensors and\nswitches for heavy duty, offroad, and recreational vehicles

Ideal Candidate:

Experience\n managing NPI projects and leading cross-functional teams.Technical\n knowledge related to product development and introduction processes.Ability\n to interpret market data and translate it into actionable strategies.Ability\n to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external\n stakeholders.Proficiency\n with project management and product management tools.Proactive\n approach to addressing and resolving issues

Key Responsibilities:
 
NPI Project Management: Lead or supervise new product introduction\nprocess. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and\nsuccessful launch of new products.


Strategic Planning: Support strategies for new\nproduct introductions that align with market needs and business goals. Provide\ninsights and recommendations based on market research and competitive analysis.

Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with\nR&D, manufacturing, marketing, sales, and supply chain teams to ensure\nalignment and integration of new products. Facilitate effective communication\nand resolve any issues that arise.

Technical Expertise: Provide technical support\nand guidance throughout the NPI process. Address complex technical issues and\nensure that new products meet quality and performance standards.

Product Validation: Support product testing and\nvalidation activities to ensure compliance with specifications and regulatory\nrequirements. Identify and address any issues that arise during testing.

Market Readiness: Collaborate with marketing and\nsales teams ensure that new products are well-positioned in the market and\nsupported with appropriate training and materials.

Documentation and Reporting: Maintain\ncomprehensive documentation related to new product introductions. Prepare and\npresent reports on project status, performance metrics, and strategic\nrecommendations.

Customer and Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with\ncustomers and stakeholders to gather feedback on new products. Utilize feedback\nto drive product improvements and enhance customer satisfaction.

Issue Resolution: Proactively identify potential\nissues during the NPI phase and develop solutions to address them. Implement\nstrategies to prevent future issues and ensure a smooth product launch.
