We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the Altair One™ Digital Engineering platform. In this role, you would be spearheading the most comprehensive, modern and scalable digital platform that would help our customers in their pursuit to become a digital enterprise. The platform aims to provide a holistic and complete framework for capturing and managing the entire digital thread of the product as it goes through the various stages of its lifecycle, starting from concept to design, manufacturing, operation and finally to disposal. It would employ best-in-class technologies for Simulation, HPC, Data Management, IOT, Machine learning and AI to intelligently assist and guide users to make better design choices, improve their productivity and foster collaboration amongst them. Built-to-integrate, its open framework would allow users to easily plug-in their tools of choice in any stage of the development process without compromising data integrity, security and traceability. What You Will Do:

Define and own the roadmap and strategy for Altair One™ digital engineeringAssess current competitor offerings, seeking opportunities for differentiationAppraise new product ideas and strategize appropriate go-to-market plansCapture and communicate product specifications based on user insights, business objectives and industry trendsSpecify high level product requirements for the engineering teamPlan and carry out product releases by collaborating with engineering, QA and production engineering teamsProvide marketing with insights on key differentiators and messagesCollaborate with marketing and sales team on product launches and collateral development

What You Will Need:

Basics:

Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.In-depth understanding of “What is digital engineering and how it is transforming the modern product development?”Working experience/knowledge of PDM/PLM systemsExposure to Workflow Engines and Tools (Execution and Authoring Environments)A good understanding of Engineering simulations, virtual prototyping and typical engineering workflows is requiredExperience with MBSE tools/processes and requirement management software is desirableHands on experience in specifying product requirements to the engineering teamsProven experience in managing and delivering scalable enterprise grade solutions.Strong customer focus and a good understanding of industry trendsCross-functional, multi-cultural team managementGood written and verbal communication combined with strong presentation skills
