Product Manager – Field Operations
Overview

Our mobile applications as part of the ArcGIS System are transforming the way organizations operate. Planning and optimizing field teams during events, accessing key information to inform decision-making in the field, capturing the status of assets to maintain critical infrastructure, or providing analysis and reporting directly from field insights are just some of the key areas of our field technology.

As the Product Manager for Field Operations, you will focus deeply on understanding the needs of field teams and turning these insights into the future capabilities we deliver to field teams globally.

Responsibilities

Customer Engagement: Actively listen to understand field workflows and the current application of field technologies. This role involves in engagement during conferences, voice of customer calls, site visits, and through user feedback channels. Market Research & Requirements: Inform product direction and identify opportunities for innovation by collecting and documenting insights from customer interactions, market assessments, and competitive analysis to develop comprehensive user requirements. Enablement: Contribute to enablement materials such as blog articles, videos and presentations to help other teams, GIS staff and mobile workers effectively use our field technologies. Collaboration: Collaborate with teams across Esri, along with distributors and partners, to ensure a consistent value proposition for Field Operations across the ArcGIS System. Product Planning: Work with product management and engineering teams on product release and launch plans, and implementation of features/capabilities. Attend product planning meetings to learn from team members and share your observations. Requirements

2+ years of experience in a technical or product-related role (such as engineering, product management, development, technical support) Highly articulate with strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging and building relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders Self-motivated, creative, and team-oriented with a passion for continuous improvement Experience with ArcGIS software, Mobile GIS, or similar geospatial technology Ability to travel 10%-20% of the time to customer sites, conferences, trade shows, and other strategic meetings and events Bachelor's in a related field (technology, GIS, or business) Recommended Qualifications

Master's in a related field Understanding of key markets and field workflows

Compensation decisions and the base range for this role take into account many factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
