Can you take a Product Roadmap and create user stories? Most Product Managers function as the Product Owner meaning you are dedicated to a Scrum team and you are the liaison between the Principle Product Manager’s roadmap vision and the development team.  You are responsible for maximizing the value of the product and the work of the team. How you do this is up to you and your Scrum team. At Paycor, we work in Agile teams so it’s important that you like to move fast and use logic and strategy to distill complex problems into simple user stories. Your primary responsibility is managing the product backlog. In this role you must be able to manage complexities of detailed stories with market trade-offs to build the best product possible. As a Product Manager a lot hinges on you—you must be decisive, available, committed and reliable..   Essential Duties and Responsibilities Manage the product backlog to roadmap vision and deliver the highest value.  Monitor Work Orders, Bugs & Known Issues to identify trends and prioritize fixes for assigned product.  Identify and track key KPIs that measure the value of your product.  Translate epics to user stories and write measurable acceptance criteria and accept or reject work based upon it.  Be the subject matter expert for assigned products, resolving issues and creating documentation as needed (write user stories/requirements, user guides, release communication, technical and sales specs)  Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for the product, ensuring alignment with the company's overall goals and objectives. Design and implement integrations with new partners and clients. Understand the technical aspects of integrations to effectively communicate with engineering teams and provide guidance on requirements. Lead problem & solution discovery efforts, usability sessions and integrate user feedback. Be the voice of the user to the team.  Customize communication for stakeholders with varying roles and degrees of initiative involvement.      Requirements   To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 1-2 years of experience in product management for a software company   Technical background with a good understanding of APIs, data flows, and basic architecture for integrations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, partners, and customers. Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret data to make informed product decisions. Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. Experience working with partners and vendors, managing relationships and driving successful collaborations. Proven ability to influence at all levels of the organization  Experience in an Agile environment  Experience in a SaaS environment preferred  Payroll and HRIS experience preferred  Four-year degree in business, software development or a related field    Paycor Total Rewards
