Job Description Directs the development of company market requirements for specific product(s) or product line(s), including product strategy definition, requirements analysis, and pricing. Monitors the development of business plans, assesses market penetration, and product positioning to drive competitive advantage, revenue and market share. Reduces broad concepts and business strategies into structured product marketing plans. Oversees market research, monitors competitive activity, and identifies customer needs. Establishes pricing strategies and develops marketing tools for successful product introductions. Communicates customer feedback to all relevant teams to enhance existing product(s) or product line(s). Leads new product definition and business plans with joint departments. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the product Qualifications Qualifications: Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare discipline, economics, business management, or related field is typically required. Advanced degrees, such as a master’s is nice to have. Skills and Experience: Experience in government relations, public affairs, lobbying, or related roles, with a focus in workers’ compensation or PIP auto industry. 2+ years of experience working in product management, PPO/HMO strategy and operations, network management is highly valued. Understanding of the workers’ compensation system, including laws, regulations, administrative processes, and industry dynamics at the local, state, and federal levels. Familiarity with key stakeholders, such as insurance carriers, employers, injured workers, medical providers, and regulatory agencies, is essential. Strong knowledge of workers’ compensation policy issues, environment trends, and PPO network trends, including emerging topics such as medical treatment guidelines, utilization review, fee schedules, network adequacy and legislative reforms. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences. Experience preparing and presenting product market assessments, such as network strategy, product strategy, product position papers, and talking points, is crucial. Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct. The expected base pay for this position ranges from $64,180-90,000 annually and will be based on a number of additional factors, including skills, experience, and education.
