Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the Altair One™ Platform. In this role, you would be spearheading the most comprehensive, modern and scalable digital platform that would help our customers in their pursuit to become a digital enterprise. The platform aims to provide a holistic and complete framework for capturing and managing the entire digital thread of the product as it goes through the various stages of its lifecycle, starting from concept to design, manufacturing, operation and finally to disposal. It would employ best-in-class technologies for Simulation, HPC, Data Management, IOT, Machine learning and AI to intelligently assist and guide users to make better design choices, improve their productivity and foster collaboration amongst them. Built-to-integrate, its open framework would allow users to easily plug-in their tools of choice in any stage of the development process without compromising data integrity, security and traceability.

Roles and Responsibilities:

·       Define and execute the roadmap and strategy for Altair One™ Platform

·       Collaborate with app teams to build native applications on the platform

·       Specify high level product requirements for the engineering team

·       Assess current competitor offerings, seeking opportunities for differentiation

·       Appraise new product ideas and strategize appropriate go-to-market plans

·       Capture and communicate product specifications based on user insights, business objectives and industry trends

·       Plan and carry out product releases by collaborating with engineering, QA and production engineering teams

·       Collaborate with marketing and sales team on product launches and collateral development

 

 

 

What You Will Need:

·       A degree in Engineering or technology, Bachelor's or Master's.

·       Strong product management focus with a good understanding of web technologies or application development

·       3-4 years of experience with software or application development related projects

·       A good understanding of engineering simulations, virtual prototyping and typical engineering workflows is preferred

·       Understanding cloud and HPC technologies is advantageous

·       Familiarity with latest industry trends, AI applications, automation

·       Cross-functional, multi-cultural team management

·       Good written and verbal communication combined with strong presentation skills
