Job Description

This job ensures portfolio management over the entire product life cycle for the assigned products with the ultimate focus on enhancing growth of the products in their markets (strategic and operative).

Job Responsibilities

1. Responsibility for managing the entire product life cycle for assigned products
2. Identifying market opportunities and associated new product strategies 
3. Developing new product value propositions and targeted feature sets 
4. Developing commercial/pricing strategies 
5. Prepares product documents and supports sales and marketing with the necessary product knowledge and technical expertise. 
6. Uses market feedback to evaluate product functionality and drives present/future product direction.
7. Maintain product strategy aligned to market requirements creating roadmaps, timelines and new product specifications.
8. Provide training to Sales staff
9. Responsible for Internal Tender Specification for New Products 
10. Defines target costs (MC, Invest, ...), revenue, timeline, minimum sales price
11. Reponsible for the New Product Business Cases

Background & Skills

1. Technical degree, ideally electrical engineering or comparable knowledge
2. Several years of professional experience in the field of or product management (B2B), ideally in power electronics or their application
3. Strong written and verbal communication skills
4. Very good knowledge of written and spoken English
5. Distinct experience in working with interdisciplinary teams, colleagues and external third parties
6. Confident appearance during customer visits and presentations at conferences or trade fairs
