As a Product Manager on the Workplace Technology Team, you'll collaborate closely with HR Business Partners to translate their Product Vision into a strategic and actionable backlog of user stories. You'll engage with users to gather valuable feedback and facilitate the successful delivery of solutions by the Software Development team. You'll witness the tangible impact of your contributions daily and take pride in the product we are building together.

What you'll do...
We’re looking for a Product Manager who will focus on improving the workplace experience at Ford Motor Company. We've custom-built a global product used by over 60,000 employees, directly impacting workplace culture and aligning with Ford+ objectives. We’ve barely scratched the surface of the capabilities or features left to build, and the sky is the limit. Our efficient team delivers MVPs and is ready for the Product Manager to lead them. You will work closely with Executives, Human Resources, Legal and Software Engineering to translate business needs into impactful solutions. You'll witness the tangible impact of your contributions daily and take pride in the product you and the team are building together.
Help Business Partners understand the Iterative Development approach and focus on delivering a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) through careful and deliberate prioritization.
You will develop and maintain a comprehensive product backlog: Create user stories, epics, and features, ensuring alignment with the product strategy and business goals.
Work hands-on with the development team to Prioritize, Plan, and Deliver Software.
Collaborate and Facilitate delivery within software engineering and HR business teams: Communicate product requirements clearly and effectively, provide guidance on technical feasibility, and ensure alignment on product development priorities.
Conduct user research and gather feedback: Actively seek user input, analyze data, and identify areas for product improvement.
Track product performance and analyze key metrics: Monitor product usage, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize product performance and user satisfaction.
Manage the product lifecycle: From ideation to launch and beyond, ensure smooth and efficient product development and delivery.
Communicate product updates and insights: Effectively communicate product progress, key milestones, and learnings to organizational stakeholders.
Mentor and Train Product team members to help them learn Agile (Lean Startup) methods and build skills.
Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies: Continuously learn and adapt to the ever-evolving technology landscape.
Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture: Encourage open communication, collaboration, and creative thinking within the product team.
Help innovate and iterate on Agile product management processes/tools and share learnings with our core product management team.anization. You'll witness the tangible impact of your contributions daily and take pride in the product we are building together.

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field
2+ years of Product Strategy Development experience: More than managing a backlog, developing a comprehensive product strategy aligned with business goals
3+ years of Proven Product Management experience
3+ years of experience in Agile Methodologies: Any combination of Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, Lean Startup

Master's degree in computer science, Management Information Systems, MBA or related field
4+ years of Product Strategy Development experience: More than managing a backlog, developing a comprehensive product strategy aligned with business goals
5+ years of Proven Product Management experience
5+ years of experience in Agile Methodologies: Any combination of Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, Lean Startup
3+ years Lean Startup type work
3+ years of Creating KPI’s and measurable success metrics
3+ years Product Discovery experience: techniques like user research, interviews, and surveys to deeply understand user needs and informed product decisions
3+ years of Market Research & Competitive Analysis
3+ years of Creating, managing, and executing Product Road-Maps
Strong stakeholder management experience: Effectively communicating and collaborating with various stakeholders is critical.
Facilitation collaboration exposure with other Cross-functional teams
User Story Writing experience: The ability to clearly and concisely define user stories and acceptance criteria is fundamental.
Strong Prioritization Skills: Prioritizing features and tasks based on business value, user needs, and technical feasibility
