Product Lead – Material Management / Production Planning

Main Responsibilities: As a Solution Expert, you will lead initiatives to create high-quality products, collaborating with product teams, architects, and platform specialists to deliver timely, world-class solutions.
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: 15+ years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years as a Solution Architect focusing on SAP S/4HANA implementations in Materials Planning or Management within the manufacturing domain.
Manufacturing Knowledge: Familiarity with manufacturing processes, including make-to-stock, make-to-order, engineer-to-order, batch production, and discrete manufacturing.
SAP Proficiency: Expertise in SAP S/4HANA modules such as Production Planning (PP) or Material Management (MM). Working knowledge of SAP IPPE and SAP PPDS is a plus.
Technical Understanding: Strong grasp of SAP architecture principles, including Fiori/UI5, SAP HANA database, and integration technologies (e.g., SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI).
Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with clients, project teams, and senior management.
Leadership Experience: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and build consensus among stakeholders.
Certifications: SAP certification(s) in relevant modules or technologies are preferred.
Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel as needed to support global implementations.
S/4HANA Implementation: Lead the deployment of S/4HANA Materials Management & Planning solutions, guiding teams on configuration, customization, and integration.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable S/4HANA solutions, designing end-to-end processes that encompass manufacturing planning, quality management, and plant maintenance.
Project Delivery: Facilitate the team’s execution of implementations following the SAP Activate methodology.
Technical Architecture: Define and architect the technical landscape for S/4HANA implementations, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
Integration Coordination: Manage the integration of S/4HANA with other SAP modules (e.g., Finance, Procurement) and non-SAP systems (e.g., Product Design, Supplier Collaboration, Order Fulfillment).
Performance Analysis: Analyze system performance and identify optimization opportunities.
Effective Communication: Engage with stakeholders to manage expectations, provide project updates, and address any concerns.
Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and SAP S/4HANA updates, using this knowledge to propose innovative solutions and drive enhancements.
Roadmap Participation: Contribute to the definition of product roadmaps and strategies.
