Product Manager, Precision Sports & Technology

We are looking for a Product Manager to join our Precision Sports and Technology platform which consists of Bushnell Golf and Foresight Sports. In this role, you will oversee the development and launch of the Golf GPS product category.  You will be responsible for defining the product vision, creating a roadmap, prioritizing features, and ensuring that the final product meets both customer expectations and business goals.

This position reports to the Co-President and is based in San Diego, CA.

As the Product Manager, you will have an opportunity to:

Support in the development of the product strategy and concepts for key products against a specific market/business segment.Identify Consumer Insights and understand consumer needs, identify market opportunities, define the products, and test against expectations.Create a recommended road map for the category identifying user needs and new types of products and digital services through meaningful consumer insights and understanding of emerging trends.Function as a central resource within the organization as the product(s) move through their lifecycle, directing strategies for all lifecycle phases including EOL and replacement of products in the portfolio.Manage the new product stage gate process.Manage prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, technical constraints, and business drivers.Possess a solid understanding of the market, competition, and customer requirements to define product portfolio strategies, identify opportunities to innovate, enhance current products, and expand share and grow revenues.Manage the creation of product development documents as a vehicle to communicate requirements to cross-functional teams like engineering, sales, and operations both domestically and internationally.Ensure that products meet strategic objectives and profitability goals.Ensure the voice of the customer feedback (end users and key channel partners) is integrated into business and portfolio strategies and product development plans.

You have:

Bachelor’s degree minimum.  Engineering, Marketing or Business preferred.5+ years of relevant work experience- preferably in product line management of consumer sporting goods, consumer-facing software, and/or mobile application products.Strong knowledge of the game of golf, including golf device technology and benefits.Be able to balance customer needs, business objectives, and technical constraints to deliver innovative and profitable products to the market.Strong communication and leadership skills are essential for this role, as Product Managers need to align stakeholders, motivate team members, and drive the product development process forward.Previous experience with electronics and UI design preferred.

Pay Range:

Annual Salary: $90,000.00 - $105,000.00

The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
