Product Manager

Job Responsibilities

Create and manage project plan for each project in conjunction with the engineerLead coordination and documentation of project team activities including kick-off meetings, design review meetings, verification/validation activities, cadaver labs for multiple projects within groupCreates strategic business plans that include market analysis, product opportunities, product positioning, product lifecycle planning, financial and sales projections and commercialization strategiesDevelop market plan for each product introductionPerform and maintain market analysis by each product segment to identify new product offerings and line extensions to ensure Globus has the best product offering in industryForecasting and inventory management for all projects / products in groupWork closely with purchasing and operations departments to source products through the Globus supply chainDevelop technique guides, product literature, brochures, sales binders and all sales support informationAssist Group Engineering Manager and Project Engineer in creating sales, surgeon, and management presentations in PowerPointEnsure timely and high quality documentation of DHF’s, DMR’s, and DHR’s for each project in group according to Globus quality policy and all FDA and other regulatory bodiesWork with Clinical R&D, and Sales & Marketing to identify clinical research topics for each product.Plan, organize and execute courses and symposia for specific product introductions in conjunction with sales and clinical R&DObtain market feedback from spine surgeons and other customers to determine functional and design specifications for new product developmentRepresent the company in a professional manner to regulatory bodies, Medical Board of Directors, Clinical Investigator Groups, surgeons, and sales forceAssist in IDE site training as requiredAssist with order taking and customer service activitiesAssist with receiving, inspection, and testing of all vended productParticipate in management meetings on strategic initiatives and business planningSpecial projects and duties as assigned

Qualifications

3-5 years’ experience in medical device or related field in Product Development, Product Management, and/or Marketing in a fast paced environmentBachelor’s Degree required. Experience managing products through their lifecycle, with an emphasis on managing a successful product launchWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office; specifically Word, Excel, Power Point and Project is required.Well organized, detail oriented, and team player capable of working in a deadline dictated environment Strong ability to create and confidently deliver effective presentations to multiple size audiencesExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to travel up to 15-20% of the timeWill be required to attend labs/surgeries.
