Product Manager
The Product Manager will be responsible for the strategic planning and execution of a broad product portfolio in our Industrial Sensors & Switches business and provide operational support to the regional sales for existing products. The role requires the ability to develop growth business plans and market-based roadmaps on new and existing products that align with the company’s and region’s strategic, operational, and financial objectives.

General Responsibilities
• Develops marketing plans and activities for specific product(s) or product line(s) to establish, enhance or distinguish product placement within the competitive arena
• Develops business plans and product positioning in the marketplace
• Leads market research activities, monitors competitive activity and identifies customer needs
• Establishes pricing strategies

Experience / Qualifications
• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
• Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
• Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
• Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
• Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers

Employs a customer-centric mindset in ability to deliver and articulate value proposition of products in the marketplaceAbility to manage broad product portfolio, applications, and customersKnowledgeable about basic finance and accounting principles as it applies to profitability of portfolio / or can quickly grasp financial reporting; experience with managing P&L is a plusHVAC and Refrigeration application knowledge is a plus
