Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to drive sales Go-to-Market (GTM) initiatives and ensure the successful execution of strategies that support the growth and profitability of our telecom products and services. This dynamic role requires a strategic thinker with a strong focus on commercial and financial performance, pricing management, churn reduction strategies, and cross-functional collaboration. Knowledge of Ethernet, IP, Wavelengths and Fiber Networks.
FiberLight’s Product Team will be instrumental in aligning product strategy with sales goals, optimizing deal management processes, and coordinating with marketing to maximize sales opportunities. This role demands financial reporting, pricing strategies, and market analysis expertise to ensure competitive positioning while fostering customer satisfaction and long-term retention.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Go-to-Market (GTM) Initiatives:Develop and execute sales GTM strategies in collaboration with sales leadership and channel partners.Enable the sales team with tools, resources, and training to effectively position and sell telecom solutions effectively.Commercial and Financial Reporting:Monitor product performance, revenue metrics, and profitability, providing regular financial reports to leadership.Analyze pricing models and recommend adjustments to maintain competitiveness and profitability.Deal Management & Pricing:Design and manage pricing structures, including custom deal configurations, ensuring alignment with revenue goals.Support sales teams in structuring competitive and profitable deals, balancing customer needs with business objectives.Churn Management Strategy:Develop and implement strategies to minimize customer churn, including proactive customer retention programs.Analyze customer behavior and feedback to identify risk factors and design targeted interventions.Cross-Functional Collaboration:Partner with marketing teams to design and execute campaigns that drive sales opportunities and enhance product visibility.Collaborate with operations, finance, and customer support teams to ensure seamless product delivery and customer satisfaction.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.5+ years of experience in product management, preferably within the telecom industry.Strong knowledge of telecom sales processes, pricing strategies, and financial analysis.Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and deliver measurable business results.Excellent analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.Experience with Salesforce CRMThis is a high-impact role that requires a proactive leader with a passion for driving growth, solving challenges, and delivering value to both the business and its customers.
