The Role: Morningstar Sustainalytics is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-centric Product Manager who owns the product strategy and roadmaps for our core data hub. You will work closely with senior product and technology folks to shape the future of our product and maximize the efficiency, usability, and profitability of the platform.

As a key driver of innovation, you will be expected to proactively identify opportunities for enhancing the platform, leveraging emerging technologies and industry trends to stay ahead of the curve. Your role will involve generating and championing new ideas, working collaboratively with stakeholders to refine and prioritize initiatives, and ensuring that the product roadmap reflects both strategic vision and practical execution.

As a Product Manager you will engage with internal customers, define and design product features, and work closely with the technology team to deliver these features. This role requires coordination across many internal global teams and will be visible at the highest levels of the company.

What You’ll Do

• Play an active part in the product team throughout the Lifecycle to collaborate on the analysis, design, development and testing

• Actively participate in release planning meetings to create stories with acceptance criteria by helping identify missing or incomplete requirements

• Maintain and develop new strategies for Automation framework and all related automation activities.

• Creates and Executes automated scripts for regression, integration, and functional testing on newly designed or modified applications/systems

• Clearly articulates verbally and in writing the specifics around defects

• Monitors and updates defect reports as needed to ensure timely problem resolution

• Performs application and project risk analysis and recommends quality improvements

• Independently follows up with design/development resources regarding defects

• Communicates in a clear and concise manner all time delays or defects in the software immediately to appropriate team members and management

• Mentor and coach team members and new team members

• Evaluate solution to design, script and execute Performance tests (Load, Stress)

• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies

Who You Are

• 5+ years in product management for enterprise solutions

• Action-oriented individual possessing an entrepreneurial mindset

• Able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment, exhibit a passion for innovation, and harbor a genuine belief in and acceptance of Morningstar`s core values

• Outstanding meeting and work session facilitation skills

• Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills

• Experience and familiarity with UX concepts

• Experience in product data analysis and converting that data to business strategy

• Strong verbal and written English communication skills with experience engaging and influencing various levels of leadership

• Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously

• Enjoys working in an innovative, dynamic and creative environment

• Team player and professional attitude: Persistence, resilience and being helpful to others

• Candidate must have an excellent and proven track record of having established successful business relationships with stakeholders

• Willingness to speak up on difficult issues with own opinions, at the same time be humble and be able to ask for help

• Demonstrate an ability to deliver forward looking product proposals and recommendations to stakeholders based on strong business requirements and product capabilities and new solutions
