The primary role of the Product Manager (PM) is to develop and execute product line strategies associated with the Seachoice/FulTyme/Yachter’s Choice Brands. PM’s are required to develop new markets and product opportunities that are strategic to the Seachoice business. The PM role communicates with end users, rep agents, sales, customer partners, and many internal departments to ensure that projects are successful and meet the needed targets. PM’s will also work closely with Category Managers (CM) at Land ‘N’ Sea (LNS) to identify opportunities that fit both businesses so that that Seachoice can be positioned as the preferred brand within the LNS catalog.

Essential Functons:

PM’s will execute product line strategy and marketing activitiesReview pricing to drive profitability and meet sales targetsExecute and manages the Seachoice Product Development Process (SPDP)Owns and manages the New Product Schedule (NPS)Plans, monitors, and manages projects/products from inception through end of lifeUses formal processes and tools to manage budgets, risks, and changesManages product lifecycle and product performance such as Cost/Quality, Maintenance of Business, End of Life, product line enhancements, SKU management and sales performanceResponsible for meeting financial targets and driving growth.Identify strategic business partners (vendors/suppliers) to assist the business in efficient execution of product development opportunitiesSupport the company's participation in trade shows and other special events.All other duties assigned.

Act as a champion for assigned products, throughout the new product development process and product lifecycle.

Required Qualifications:

Marine industry and or marine products experienceDemonstrated business leadership abilities. Proven track record of leading teams directly and indirectly (through collaboration and persuasion) to achieve business growth.Ability to identify consumer, customer, product, and industry trends and develop strategies to take advantage of market opportunities.Demonstrated willingness to challenge the status quo and constructively drive change while fostering teamwork and core enterprise values.Communicate effectively with different levels and functional groups within the organization.Excel in problem solving, innovation, team participation, and self-motivation.Fundamental understanding of operational processes, financial planning, pricing, margins, costs, inventories, and financial statements.Fundamental understanding of the marine and RV industry and a general technical knowledge of parts and accessories.Understanding the benefits products provide to a consumer and the ability to explain this to audiences of all skill levels.Ability to travel up to 20%

Education and Experience:

A Bachelor’s of Science degree in Marketing from an accredited programMinimum 7 years of Product Management experience managing product from conception to end of lifeProficient MS Office skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.Clear and concise communicationHigh level of self-organizationEntrepreneurial mindset

Preferred Experience:

Experience with using AS400Marine and/or RV experienceDesign experience using globally recognized standardsFormal/informal leadership experienceGraduate Degree
