Product Manager
****This is a Hybrid role requiring 2 days a week in a Wolters Kluwer office**** This is a Product Manager position focused on the compliance solutions marketed under the Simplifi+ brand, Simplifi 797, Simplifi+MedStorage, and Simplifi+ MedTrays. This position will collaborate with the Portfolio Product Manager to create strategic direction for compliance solutions, prioritize projects for enhancements to those solutions, and lead delivery of those projects through an Agile-based product development process. The compliance solutions support hospital pharmacy and non-hospital compounding pharmacies in complying with requirements from accrediting organizations, state boards of pharmacy, the US Pharmacopeia and local regulatory bodies. Knowledge of hospital pharmacy operations and awareness of regulatory requirements is a benefit in this role. The Product Manager will work under the direction of the Lead Portfolio Product Manager, and in close collaboration with the Director of Product Strategy to execute market research on changing customer needs, develop product concepts to solve customer challenges, scope and prioritize projects, and maintain a roadmap of prioritized projects. The Product Manager will provide input on investment case for product investment, and present proposed investments to stakeholders for project approval in accordance with CSC’s capital management processes. The Product Manager will collaborate with internal stakeholders, product development and advanced technology teams if appropriate to develop detailed product requirements, will collaborate with product analysts and UX designers who turn feature concepts into detailed requirements in development stories, and plan delivery to meet iteration and release timelines. Product development utilizes Agile Scrum development methodologies with two-week sprint cycles. This role is responsible for maintaining a prioritized product backlog with appropriate balance between new feature development stories, technology tasks, and bugs to ensure continuous delivery of product improvements. This is a high-profile high-impact position with regular exposure to customers and senior business unit leadership, and the Product Manager must be able to create well considered plans and present effectively to an executive audience. **Responsibilities:** + Conduct market research and gather competitive intelligence. + Assist in the development and execution of marketing strategies. + Support the creation and management of marketing programs and tools. + Track and analyze product performance metrics. + Organize and participate in product-related events and webinars. + Support product planning and development activities. + Compile product documentation and ensure updates. + Participate in internal and cross-departmental meetings. + Collaborate with external suppliers and customers. + Contribute to the maintenance and development of the product roadmap. **Skills:** + Market Research: Ability to conduct research and analyze market trends. + Communication: Effective written and verbal communication skills. + Analytical Skills: Skills to analyze and interpret data for reports. + Project Management: Ability to assist in managing projects. + Collaboration: Skills to work with cross-functional teams. + Technical Skills: Proficiency in tools like Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM software. + Organizational Skills: Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks. + Problem-Solving: Basic problem-solving skills to support project needs **Qualifications:** + Bachelor of science (BS) or bachelor of arts degree (BA) or equivalent + At least 3 years of product delivery experience in health IT, acute care hospital clinical setting, or managing systems that integrate with the clinical workflow in various electronic health record systems + At least 3 years of direct experience managing a product lifecycle, developing and maintaining the roadmap, creating the business case for new development, and managing a prioritized backlog for product development + Experience working with clinical subject matter experts to elicit detailed product requirements in a healthcare setting + Experience aligning product investment with overall company strategy and presenting new ideas to executive audiences and all level of internal stakeholders + Experience building in Agile Scrum software development process, including experience decomposing large product enhancements into small units of work with requirements detailed as acceptance criteria and daily close interaction with product analysts and delivery teams + Experience with requirements management and project management required to deliver complex projects. + Background and/or education in the healthcare industry with specific knowledge of hospital information technology preferred. **Compensation:** Target salary range CA, CT, CO, DC, HI, IL, MD, MN, NY, RI, WA: $91,600 - $126,800 EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY Wolters Kluwer U.
