Selection Criteria

Hands on Experience with ETL architecture and IBM Cloud Pak/Data stage (Must) Good in Writing SQL queries for analyzing and validating the data. Must have good understanding on GCP, Terraform and GitHub. Strong knowledge of database structure systems and data mining.

 

Nice to have

Has experience in Data modeling and solutioning (design and implementation) for medium to large scale products Excellent organizational and analytical abilities, Outstanding problem solver. Good written and verbal communication skills Have a thorough knowledge of working in Agile environments and adopt to multiple itineraries running in concurrency

 

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or relevant field. 7 to 9 years’ experience in a similar role. Design, develop and deliver data integration/data extraction solutions using IBM Cloud Pak/Datastage/DataFlow/DataProc. Experience in integrating various data sources like GCP Postgres, Big Query, SQL Server,DB2 and Data Warehouse platforms & Flat files. Have a hands-on approach to solving problems; when required, be able to lead-by-example-type of person in developing snippets of the code that team can use and follow Maintain and constantly refine the Production failures and escalations; be able to capture, articulate and create knowledge base of Production ETL functioning and potential points of failures. Ensure business requirements are met, validates correct information boundaries, integrity, security, accuracy and use of information, coordinates cross-application database changes. Produces logical and physical data models following corporate information/data guidelines, standards and procedures. Debug data quality issues by analyzing the upstream sources and provide guidance to data integration team resolutions. Independently lead global projects and interact with business customers. Good experience in Astronomer.
