Tenable Cloud Security was born out of the acquisition of Ermetic, an innovative cloud-native application protection platform (CNAPP) company, and a leading provider of cloud infrastructure entitlement management (CIEM). The acquisition combines two cybersecurity innovators and marks an important milestone in Tenable’s mission to shift organizations to proactive security. The combination of Tenable and Ermetic offerings will add capabilities to deliver market-leading contextual risk visibility, prioritization and remediation across infrastructure and identities, both on-premises and in the cloud.

Your Role:

Research cloud resources (e.g., compute instances, databases, storage, networking, and auxiliary services) across major cloud providers. This includes pulling resource information via APIs to understand their behavior, key attributes, and relationships with other resource types. Identify common misconfigurations in these resources that may pose security risks. Write detailed specifications for adding new cloud resources to Tenable Cloud Security's inventory, as well as precise detection rules for misconfigurations.  Learn relevant security compliance standards and how detection policies map to specific sections of those standards. Collaborate with engineering teams across different geographies to translate specifications into shippable features, and with technical writers to document the features. Conduct in-depth market and customer research to help prioritize the roadmap for new resource mapping and misconfiguration detection. Define and monitor key product metrics to measure progress against business goals.

Your Opportunity:

The Product Manager will play a pivotal role in the product life cycle, focusing on expanding product coverage for cloud resources and misconfiguration detection. This role involves close collaboration with various departments, including engineering, UX/UI, sales, customer support, finance, marketing, and product management, to ensure customer needs are met.

As a Product Manager, you will lead the full product lifecycle, overseeing feature prioritization, productization, and direction. You will conduct market and customer analysis to deeply understand customer needs, building clear problem statements and detailed feature requirements.

What You'll Need:

Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience. 5+ years of proven experience developing and launching products or technologies related to cloud infrastructure, in roles such as product manager, software engineer, product analyst, or quality assurance engineer (or any combination of these).  Experience with cloud infrastructure, including AWS, Azure and GCP, or proficiency in managing Kubernetes environments. Aptitude for product management, including strategic thinking, problem-solving, and the ability to prioritize features based on customer needs and market trends. Strong technical skills, including the ability to call APIs, run scripts, or perform hands-on tasks to gather and analyze data. Excellent English skills, both written and verbal, with strong presentation abilities. Proven experience with cybersecurity products, particularly in areas such as threat detection, cloud security posture management, cloud workload protection, or data security (strong advantage). Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) in Terraform or CloudFormation (strong advantage).  Proven experience with SaaS, Enterprise, B2B, or AI-focused products (advantage).
