**Your Future Role**
We are seeking a skilled and experienced engineering or product management professional to join our Customer Service Product Cluster Management team to be the Serviceability Manager for GH150AC & GH180 Performance Products. This role will have ownership of the serviceability related topics globally & locally for US region for the assigned products.
Additionally, this person will act as Product Manager for Turnkey Projects, responsible for the definition, development, and lifecycle management of turnkey service solutions that combine engineering, supply, installation, and commissioning of medium voltage drives and motors. This includes defining standard turnkey scopes, coordinating with sales, engineering, and project execution teams, and ensuring alignment with customer requirements and strategic business goals. The candidate will also lead the integration of serviceability requirements into turnkey offerings, ensuring long-term supportability and reliability of the delivered systems.
This position can be based out of Atlanta, GA, Pittsburgh/New Kensington, PA, Norwood, OH, Houston, TX, Denver, CO or UT.
**Key responsibilities include:**
+ Provides local and global technical and organizational support acting as the Serviceability Manager for assigned Products (SAMP)
+ Responsible for definition and development of the Product-specific Service Concept (PsSC) and Service Delivery Specification (SDS) by collaborating with R&D team for responsible products.
+ Collaborates with product management team and the responsible service units globally and locally to ensure readiness and release of Product-specific Service Concept (PsSC) at the time of product and/or feature releases.
+ Acts as first point of contact during the service localization process and thereafter. Guides competence development for the appointed services in their local region, wherever required.
+ Responsible for the requirement engineering of serviceability topics during assigned product PLM stages (e.g., adapt basic serviceability requirements into Product-Spec) and the demand management for all aspects of service delivery.
+ Responsible for the development and implementation of serviceability requirements for the product and service delivery with regards to current service portfolio roadmap.
+ Evaluate field & service experiences for products relevant for R&D PLM feature development or refinements, e.g., evaluation of field service, repair, quality and technical support reports for the fleet.
+ Owns global responsibility for products serviceability when faced with sophisticated technical design or product operational issues.
+ Align with Serviceability Manager (SAM) for all product serviceability topics, both locally and globally, and provides updates on the status of localization, including landmarks and documentation.
+ Actively approaches other SAMP’s globally and locally for support on any problems encountered during or after the localization process.
+ Coordinate multi-functionally with business functions for alignment of serviceability roadmaps, portfolio evolution and basic serviceability delivery requirements.
+ Defines and standardizes turnkey scope-of-supply packages for motors and drives in alignment with regional and global execution teams.
+ Collaborate with engineering, sales, and project management teams to ensure flawless planning and execution of turnkey projects.
+ Supports commercial teams during offer preparation by providing technical scope definitions, budgetary estimates, and timelines for turnkey proposals.
+ Ensures alignment of turnkey project execution with product serviceability requirements and long-term lifecycle support strategies.
+ Tracks market trends and customer needs to evolve turnkey offerings and find opportunities for service differentiation.
**Your Profile**
**Requirements:**
+ BS degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
+ 8+ years in electrical engineering or a related field, with a focus on power system engineering and drives systems.
+ Shown understanding of electrical engineering principles, power distribution, and control systems.
+ Experience working on electrical infrastructure products for a diverse customer base like - O&G, Power Gen, Water/Wastewater, Cement, Metals or Mining
+ In-depth understanding of drives and motor systems, including their integration, control, and solving
+ Experience in process documentation, configuration management and/or product lifecycle management.
+ Experience leading or supporting turnkey or large-scale engineering projects for industrial customers.
+ Strong understanding of project execution processes, including scheduling, budgeting, and risk management in the context of Customer Service turnkey solutions and coordinated system delivery.
+ Ability to coordinate multi-functional teams and lead multiple collaborators across engineering, supply chain, field service, and proposal functions.
The pay range for this position is $97,500 - $167,200. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
