As a Product Manager - Digital Mergers & Acquisitions and Advisory Vice President in Global Investment Banking Digital (GIBD) you will be an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.


 

Job responsibilities

Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customersManages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmapOwns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value propositionBuilds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliabilityBe an SME of Investment Banking, particularly Mergers & Acquisitions, and be the primary point of contact for the product, for Mergers & Acquisitions stakeholdersDevelop strong relationships with stakeholders to drive product adoption and satisfactionLead product development projects from concept to launch, ensuring detailed user requirement documentation, timely delivery, and quality standardsWork with Engineering, Design & Data teams to build solutions that meet business needs; ensure adaptability and scalability of solutions across regionsConduct market research and stay informed on industry trends to identify opportunities for new products and enhancements to existing offeringsBuild a deep understanding of advanced analytics and AI capabilities that can be incorporated into product solutions to enhance and accelerate user valueWrites detailed Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), epics, and user stories to support product development 

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Previous experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain areaAdvanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analyticsProven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value managementA customer-centric mindset and experience building and delivering greenfield products end to endProduct Manager background in digital platform infrastructure and modernization efforts Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, and act as an effective translator between business and technologyStrong ability to collaborate with engineering teams to translate technical requirements into scalable product solutionsStrong project management and organizational planning skills to work and stay aligned with cross-functional teamsExceptional communication skills to align cross-functional teams and stakeholders on strategic prioritiesProven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder technical projects with competing priorities

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organizationProven experience as a Product Manager in the financial services industry, with a focus on Advisory and Mergers & AcquisitionsStrong understanding of the Mergers & Acquisitions process, financial markets, and industry regulationsProven ability to manage ambiguity and align technical and business priorities effectively
