Role Overview:
The Product Manager is responsible for supporting the business development, client experience and sales revenues across both the existing CSC DBS customer base, as well as engaging in pre-sales activities connected to the sale of Domain Management services by the New Business Team.
Primary Accountabilities:
Support delivering revenue growth within the CSC DBS customer base to help the DBC team exceed their financial targets (Cross Sell) Support delivering revenue growth within the existing Domains customer base to help the DBC team exceed their financial targets (Upsell) Support delivering revenue growth within the prospect base to help the BDM teams exceed their financial targets (New Business) Help develop the Domain Management knowledge, subject matter expertise, consultative sales skills and proficiency of the US sales team Help Product Management to monitor customer attrition and mitigate potential issues and cancellations to ensure a continual rise in renewal rates Help Domain team to develop, widen and grow existing client relationships and Domain accounts via structured planning and operation of Domain Management services; Act as a catalyst to ensure that the relevant Domain Management SME is leveraged in sales scenarios so that we increase the client & prospect interaction with our teams Understand, anticipate and act on industry trends and product/service enhancements to ensure team are positioned well to capitalize on any opportunities/threats Work with marketing and product management to ensure that the Domain Management team has a competitive advantage in regard to suitable Domain Management product’s to sell to the Domains client base Work with Platform Engineering teams to build and improve applications that comprise the Domain name Management platform Regular reporting on activity and performance to the Global Commercial Director and CTOExperience:
Strong Presentation Skills Understanding across legal, technical and marketing topics with specific relation to the Domain Name Management Services Good sales operations experience An understanding of Consultative Sales Process and Strategic Account Planning Business development and negotiation capabilities Ability to identify strategic opportunities and help create a suitable pitch team Ability to coach, mentor and motivate individualsSpecific Requirements:
