We are looking for a Product Manager, Drug Discovery & Preclinical, to join our team in Barcelona, for our Discovery & Translational Science solutions, with the ability to understand market challenges and users’ needs to develop successful solutions.
You will oversee and enhance our Discovery & Preclinical solutions, mainly Cortellis Drug Discovery Intelligence. This role focuses on collaborating with cross-functional teams, especially Technology and UX, to develop innovative features.
You will work with the lead Product Manager to define and drive product strategy, integrating customer feedback and market needs, and aligning with organizational goals. You will also ensure successful product launches and drive market adoption.
About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Life Science or related field, or commensurate industry experience. Preferred in Chemistry/Pharmacology-related subject (other Life Sciences related degrees will be considered as well). +5 years of work experience in Drug Discovery in the Life Science industry. Specially knowledge of end-user needs in Drug Discovery. + 2 years of experience working in a global, matrix, and virtual environment with cross-cultural clients or teams.Experience of interpreting and utilizing quantitative and qualitative usage metrics and feedback for product improvements and prioritization. Experience working with a data/BI/SaaS based product suite. Experience working with development and UX teams using Agile methodologies to drive product development efficiently Excellent oral and written English communications.It would be great if you also had
At least 3 years of work experience in product management is desirable. Experience working with AI-driven solutions is desirable. Passion for customer centricity. Ability to set priorities and be flexible in a changing environment. A good team player with the ability to work on own initiative. Well organized and disciplined with regards to policy, procedure, and standards.What will you be doing in this role?
Manage existing products in the Discovery & Preclinical portfolio by integrating the customer needs/feedback with the development needed in the product. Work with Technology to review and prioritize product specifications, to define delivery timelines aligned with milestones and budget, and to drive projects forward with confidence and expertise. Work closely with UX to create solutions that meet the customer needs. Set objectives and key results (OKRs) for the team with guidance from your lead. Provide strategic insights that influence key projects within your product line, helping to shape the direction and priorities of the team. Elevate the team’s understanding of customers within your product line and constantly advocates for the customer internally. Work with the Go-To-Market and Marketing teams. Tracks product adoption and usage.About the Team
