**Overview:**
As the **Product Manager for Human Expression and Other Products** You will play a pivotal role in driving the long-term strategy and annual marketing plans for BIC’s Stationery and Socks categories in Greece and exporting countries (Cyprus, Malta). Leveraging the full marketing mix, you will focus on ensuring profitable growth, strengthening consumer preference for the BIC brand, and uncovering new business opportunities.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Strategic Planning:**
2. Develop and execute long-term strategies and annual marketing plans aligned with the EU framework and local market vision.
3. Define marketing communication objectives and implement integrated marketing and promotional plans, including ATL and BTL activations for Stationery.
4. **Product & Portfolio Management:**
5. Manage the product portfolio by optimizing the product mix and pricing strategies tailored to channel and consumer needs.
6. Analyze market trends, identify opportunities and threats, and transform insights into actionable strategies.
1. **Market Growth:**
2. Identify and unlock new opportunities to maximize category potential.
3. Develop a deep understanding of the route to market and create effective channel strategies.
4. **Financial Oversight:**
5. Set, monitor, and report on the brand support budget to ensure financial efficiency.
6. Drive profitability through ROI-focused initiatives and Revenue Growth Management (RGM) principles.
7. **Cross-functional Collaboration:**
+ Partner with Sales, Category Management, E-commerce, Demand Planning, and HQ teams to implement the Stationery strategy seamlessly.
+ Align with HQ Marketing & Communications teams to validate plans and ensure consistency with the EU strategy.
+ Train and support the Sales Team, sharing product expertise and knowledge.
1. **Category Development:**
+ Analyze and synthesize market data and field insights to deploy effective category growth strategies.
+ Conduct store visits alongside Sales and Category Management teams to assess category needs and identify solutions.
1. **Local Socks Category:**
2. Oversee supplier relationships, order management, and stock levels.
3. Negotiate product costs and explore alternative suppliers to ensure profitability.
4. Propose portfolio optimizations to maintain the financial health of the category.
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Economics
+ Minimum of 2 - 4 years of experience in Marketing or Trade Marketing roles, ideally in FMCG/CPG
+ Excellent English proficiency (spoken and written)
+ Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and BI tools
+ Exceptional interpersonal, communication, presentation and negotiation abilities
+ Strategic thinker with a strong analytical mindset
+ Strong organizational and time management skills
+ Exposure to sales, trade marketing, or category management is a plus
