The Financial Platform team is key to Coinbase’s mission to create an open financial system for the world. The Financial Platform team powers all trading flows & products at Coinbase, including hundreds of billions of dollars of transactions per year. In this role, you will lead the most-trusted company in crypto as we approach the upcoming bull run.

We are looking for an entrepreneurial, self-motivated product manager who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment. You have experience with financial products including customer financial records, and you’ve led these products at scale. You are comfortable dealing with ambiguity, able to think through complex challenges, and able to align cross-functional teams effectively to launch products. 

What You'll Be Doing (i.e., Job Duties):

Determine the vision and strategy for the platforms which power the entirety of Coinbase’s trading flows and products  Build robust, scalable solutions that maintain a high quality bar for customer financial data Define the roadmap to scale to 1B users and steer execution on that vision Prioritize the roadmap towards highest value to our customers, leveraging metrics to guide product development Consider new customer and business opportunities such as externalizing our APIs to the developer community Become an expert in financial and crypto products, performing competitive and data analyses to guide decision-making

What We Look For In You (ie. Job Requirements):

5+ years of product management experience Computer Science degree or Software Engineering experience  Knowledge in financial products, including financial record keeping and Accounting pipelines Experience building robust, scalable solutions for fund movements, customer balances, and/or portfolio performance Demonstrated success leading business-critical systems in a fast-paced environment Ability to motivate a range of senior stakeholders including CFO, Accounting, Product & Engineering towards a common vision

Nice to Haves:

Experience designing, implementing and executing automated financial controls Knowledge of financial processes (audit, treasury, FP&A) and financial applications (ERP systems, accounting platforms, budgeting tools, etc.)

Pay Transparency Notice: Depending on your work location, the target annual salary for this position can range as detailed below. Full time offers from Coinbase also include target bonus + target equity + benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401(k)).Pay Range: $175,100—$206,000 USDCommitment to Equal Opportunity
