Product Manager II, Rider Experience

**About the Role**
As a Product Manager on the Rider team, you’ll work on innovative ride requesting experiences that enhance Uber's ability to provide riders with fast, reliable rides, and ensure that Uber is dependable even in high-demand or low-supply situations. This role offers the chance to develop new, value-added experiences, positioning Uber as a competitive leader in user experience. You will play a pivotal role in designing solutions that simplify and/or add value to the ride-request journey, ultimately impacting millions of riders worldwide.
**What the Candidate Will Do**
- Own a 12 to 18-month roadmap, always maintaining a clear vision for what they are building and why. Ensure your cross-functional team understands and aligns with this vision. and is empowered to execute.
- Lead product development on ride requesting experiences that help riders access faster rides or reliably find drivers, even in challenging market conditions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, and data science teams to drive product vision and execute seamlessly
- Conduct user research with the UXR team and leverage insights to create user-centric solutions that stand out in competitive markets.
- Prioritize product enhancements and refine features for maximum impact, balancing both short-term wins and long-term growth.
- Communicate product strategies and results to senior leadership, advocating for the best rider experience possible.
**Basic Qualifications**
- Minimum of 3 years as a consumer-facing product PM (5+ years preferred).
- Strong expertise in user experience, with demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across teams and organizations.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage cross-functional teams and leadership (Sr. Director level and above).
**Preferred Qualifications**
- 5+ years of PM experience, especially in global, consumer-facing products.
- Obsessed with delivering pixel-perfect, exceptional user experiences.
- Proven ability to collaborate across teams and organizations, aligning goals and driving execution.
- Familiarity with navigating complex regulatory and cultural landscapes in global product markets.
For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$149,000 per year - USD$165,500 per year.
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$149,000 per year - USD$165,500 per year.
For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
