About This Opportunity As part of the Financial Services Product Development team, the Product Development Manager will have ownership of product development roadmaps for the technical stacks under their purview, drive innovative, high priority initiatives, and make a positive impact for customers and clients. You will partner with cross functional teams to drive some of the most exciting and impactful product enhancements for our diverse open and closed loop portfolio offered across American Express, Visa and Mastercard networks that are built on synergistic solutions across InComm Payment’s many applications and systems. This is an integral role that connects business and technology to set the standard for cohesive, streamlined, and innovative solutions in the Financial Services space. Adaptability & flexibility are critical for success in this position, as roles flex to complement the skills and abilities of the team, as well as evolving business needs. The successful candidate will be an integral part of a fast-growing, agile team. This is a great opportunity for candidates with knowledge of reporting, reconciliation applications, processing platforms, B2C and/or B2B2C financial services experience, who are looking to leverage their leadership skills, are driven to profitably nurture and grow businesses, and have a strong desire to foster cross-functional partnership to develop transformational solutions. Responsibilities • Actively works with product management and business stakeholders and tech teams to understand specific product features/benefits being developed & leads/manages the design to ensure reporting and reconciliation needs are addressed. Build, manage and prioritize product backlog based on the overall strategy and business objectives for future product development. Additionally, the product owner will need to map out project dependencies to inform the necessary sequence of development. Responsible for creating and/or managing following artifacts: o Product vision and development stack roadmaps – which will convey the vision to the scrum team. Coordinate the cadence of work across teams to optimize the value of the work done by the teams as the scrum team lead o Backlog - Epics, User Stories and supporting documentation - Ensure user stories are well defined and ready for development to begin • Represent the customer to the development team as the primary link between stakeholders and scrum teams. • Accountable for each stage of the development process and the final product. • Influence design so InComm Payment’s applications and systems are leveraged to build cohesive and streamlined solutions. Qualifications • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Business, Information Systems or Computer Science or a minimum of 2 years Product Development or Product Ownership experience • Product Owner or Scrum Master certification is preferred • Knowledgeable about Financial products, the market it serves and financial platforms/processing including databases, reporting solutions and data feeds. • Analytical and data-driven with ability to request reports/data feeds, interpret data and apply findings to formulate strategy, presentations for leadership and roadmaps. • Owner mentality with focus on owning entire end-to-end process. • High degree of initiative with a sense of urgency • History of delivering major projects in a matrix organization with multiple partners. Excellent leadership skills and strategic thinking with a strong customer focus. Assertive and collaborative, with the ability to effectively challenge the status quo and drive innovation. • Solid knowledge with working with Jira Software and Agile processes with the ability to learn and teach Agile and Scrum Framework to others in organizations • Creative thinker with analytical skills that can set strategy for their technical stacks and focus on what is most important to deliver next to optimize value • Must be energetic, positive, flexible, and proactive with a natural sense of curiosity, a can-do attitude and the desire to make work fun!
