Key Responsibilities:

Within this Product Manager role at United Airlines, this person would spearhead multiple projects working with cross-functional digital technology teams. You will be part of a Strategy and Planning team, maintaining the product roadmap, handling work intake, and ensuring the team delivers on commitments effectively and efficiently. Your primary Business Partners will be HR and Payroll and you will also interact with Operational Business teams.

Product Development and Lifecycle Management: Help define and communicate the roadmap for services within your domain; ensure the roadmap supports company objectives, helps prioritize features and aligns with company priorities. Maintain capacity management plans for the team, ensuring roadmaps align with team capacityProduct Strategy: Assist in developing a strategic technical roadmap. Analyze and define efficient, cost-effective solutions to support company objectives, dept objectives.Product Research and development: Conduct and participate in the analysis of business processes and functional requirements; prepare appropriate documentation to communicate and validate the informationCollaboration and team member leadership: Interact with business partners, enterprise project teams, and channel teams to understand their needs, priorities and root of the problem to ensure alignment between the customer, business, and technology solutionProduct Launch: Review and validate QA test plans; support the QA team during test executionData Analysis and guidance: Helps outlines critical metrics and success metics. Partners to monitor progress of deliverables, keep dependent teams and projects informed on progress; take corrective action if deliverable cannot be met or if higher priorities disrupt prior commitments. Helps identify investment opportunities, evaluate tradeoffs, and prioritize investments for the feature.

Qualifications

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

Bachelor’s degree required in information technology or Computer Science or Engineering4+ years software product management and business analysis1+years Agile/Scrum experience. Knowledge and experience in agile methodologies, tools and techniques for specific products; ability to develop product line processes and strategiesKnowledge of project management methodology and some project managementConfirmed knowledge of product management standard processes, functional design and application delivery methodologyKnowledge of the latest technology in software developmentStrong multi-tasker, tried experience handling multiple roles and projects simultaneouslyExcellent analysis, problem solving and decision-making skillsAttention to detailStrong planning & organizational skillsExcellent communication skills - verbal, written and presentationProficiency with Microsoft Office, VisioMust be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorshipSuccessful completion of interview required to meet job qualificationReliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
