Product Manager Installation

We are looking for a Product Manager to be hired in our Business Unit Transmission. We provide state-of-the-art solutions for High Voltage Underground and Submarine cable links in some of the world’s most challenging environments.

Overall Purpose of the Job

Ensure the management of a cohesive Installation Services Portfolio in line with the Company growth objectives.Define & drive the Installation Services offerings, their development & commercializationIdentify and develop technical and commercial opportunities during the pre-ITT stagesCountry of Operation (Subject to change as per the business needs): ITALYCountry of Responsibility: WorldwideCustomer profile: TSO, Developers, O&G Operators and Utilities

Team Overview and Job responsibilities

You will be in charge of:

Increase the presence in front of the Clients to deepen the understanding of requirements, present the Installation Services and influence their specification.Gather Market Data, perform Competitive Analysis and Assess and benchmark competitionMaintain professional and technical knowledge, assisting in Industry Standards activities and participating in Industry related eventsGuide internal Stakeholders on expectations and support in identifying Submarine and Underground Installation Investments aligned to the Company strategyProvide guidance & product information to Sales Managers and convey relevant market data & competitive analysis to the TeamLiaise with relevant Functions to translate Customer requirements into viable and value-added proposalsSupport Sales with bid strategy definitionSupport bid team with technical solution definitionReview prepared costs of Installation Services and advise market pricing levelsAttend Tender Review Meetings, TPA meetings and internal Kick of Meetings if requestedConsolidate all Installation Services related issues across all streams driving internal development and coordination across the functionsOversee entire Installation Service life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activitiesEvaluate performance & gaps in the Installation Services PortfolioCreate and maintain an Installation Service RoadmapSpecify requirements for current & future Installation Services

Travel Requirements: worldwide frequent travels may be required.

Who are we looking for?

Minimum Qualifications:

Honours degree in technical engineeringDeep technical knowledge of the Submarine and Land Cable Installation Activities

Preferred Experience:

At least 5 years of experience in engineering/technical roles in the Cable IndustryFluent in English, written and spokenKnowledge of the Submarine and HV cable business/marketTechnical and Commercial presentation skillsFlexibility and capability to manage changes during the workGood relationship approachTeam working capabilityProblem solving and target orientedPragmatism. Capability to set and to handle pragmatically the prioritiesCapacity to understand and conceptualizes complexity into concise frameworksWish to quickly learn and get involvedIT skills: MS office, Project planning tools, Presentation PPT expertise
