We are looking for a driven and skilled Product Manager to join our Laboratory Chemicals Division (LCD). As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the development and launch of solvents that cater to the diverse needs of our customers. By collaborating closely with industry experts, you will gain valuable insights into their technological requirements and devise effective product strategies that align with our value proposition.

A Day in the Life

Collaborate directly with customers and experts in the industry to gain insights into the current and future technological requirements of the market.Develop and commercialize chemical solutions that support customers across a variety of applications and segments.Develop the product strategy for our LAR catalog product line, with a focus on cross-divisional collaboration that prioritizes customer needs, portfolio roadmaps, and integration into the Thermo Fisher Scientific value proposition.Drive revenue and profitability targets, pricing and margin strategies, and provide product management support to sales, technical support, and operations.

Keys to Success

Education

Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field. Equivalent experience will also be considered.MBA and/or Masters in Life Sciences a plus

Experience

Minimum 2 years of Product Management, Marketing, Sales, or similar relevant experience.Proven record of successfully introducing or marketing products/product lines into the Life Sciences market.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to distill customer requirements, understand competitive strengths and weaknesses, and develop compelling product offerings and value propositions.Outstanding communication skills, organizational capabilities, and attention to detail.Strong business acumen and customer focus.Collaborative partner who can positively influence across functional teams in a sophisticated, highly matrixed organization.Ability to travel up to 25%.
