We're looking for an enthusiastic Product Manager for Master Data Management topics to complement the existing product management team. 

The role is positioned in Intelligent Data Management (IDM) in the Product, Data & Technology (PDT) unit as part of the SAP Corporate Processes & IT (CPIT) organization. Our mission is clear – working together, we drive transformation to enable SAP to become the #1 Enterprise application and Business AI company. 

In this position you will be supporting the business (SAP Marketing, Sales, Finance) and IT in the area of Master Data Management topics. You will have a clear focus on master data quality and meta data management. 


What you'll do

 

Your responsibilites will include:

-  Defining and communicating a roadmap for dedicated master/meta data topics under managed guidance
-  Understanding business needs for assigned master/meta data topics and translating them into IT requirements 
- Creating and prioritizing requirements for an IT backlog based on business value 
- Creating transparency and understanding across all stakeholders 
- Testing delivered backlog items 
- Collecting feedback from stakeholders for continuous improvement 
- Driving rollout strategy and communicating with relevant stakeholders  

 

What you bring

 

- 2+ years working experience in the software industry, ideally business-facing  
- Business acumen and business focus 
- User-friendly and user-centric mindset
- Technical understanding and willingness to learn about master data management 
- Curious mindset, willingness to constantly learn and develop further 
- Good skills in MS Office, specifically MS PowerPoint 
- Very good communication and presentation skills in English
- Good project management skills
- Proactive, hands-on approach, and a positive attitude 
- Product Management / business education is a plus
