The Position

As Product Manager for Pathology, Molecular Lab & Sequencing you will hold a key position within Roche Diagnostics Romania Commercial Team. You will be leading the product management of the assigned product portfolio, including development of integrated marketing plans, launch of new products, execution of globally provided campaigns and roll-out of promotional and training materials in collaboration with other functions.  In addition, you will be collaborating across Affiliates and with regional and global teams. 

Career Opportunities and Challenges

Lead the product management of the assigned product portfolio along it's full life cycle from launch over on market topics (e.g. pricing reviews, quality related topics or security of supply) to out phasing, including development of integrated marketing plans, identification of market potentials and competitive situation, driving market development, launching of new products, execution of globally provided campaigns and roll-out of promotional materials and internal and external trainings in order to successfully commercialize and monetize our integrated solutions offering;

Contribute to congress and event organization and execution related to the assigned product line as well as deliver presentations on Roche’s behalf at the events;

Support tender activities with your product technical expertise and guidance;

Ensure all operational measures within the framework of predefined regulations to guarantee quality and regulatory compliance for the products/solutions supported;

Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience and provides functional guidance;

Act as a contact person within the local Affiliate and also across the regional and global organization for the assigned product portfolio and Roche Diagnostics Solutions (RDS) specific enquiries and manage the solution finding process and implementation under minimal guidance as a product owner and project manager; 

Analyze market and competitive data as specified and thereby support the preparation of business cases for new innovations;

Lead local projects and build and provide effective matrix-leadership, without direct people leader responsibility, for local project teams in line with the Roche values, operating principles, way of working and leadership commitments or contribute to and participate in regional and global projects;

Ensure all operational measures within the framework of predefined regulations to guarantee quality and regulatory compliance for the products/solutions supported; 

Communicate with customers and other key external partners to provide updates on product launches, discontinuations, bottlenecks and/or replacements to foster strategic partnerships.

Who You Are 

University degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology, Medical Sciences or equivalent is a must; higher education degree in one of the mentioned fields would be a plus

Previous laboratory experience with Molecular and/or Tissue Diagnostics; or prior sales/marketing experience within the diagnostics industry

Proven experience in driving market adoption for innovative diagnostic solutions, demonstrating a strong understanding of the healthcare landscape and current trends, passion for improving patient care

Demonstrable expertise in Marketing activities / Product Management 

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment, showing a strong collaborative mindset and excellent interpersonal skills that allow the development of long-term and trustful relationships; ability to work cross-culturally in an international environment

Excellent communication and strong presentation skills, the ability to „keep the audience engaged“ and offer fact & data driven arguments

Ability to adjust the conversation about complex matters to both laymen and experts

Pricing, sales potential and financial planning skill

Skilled in Google C-Suite, MS Office, SAP system, CRM

Flexibility to travel locally and occasionally also within Europe

Proficient in English to collaborate internally across the broader Roche enterprise and
fluent in the local language to act impactful within the local market

Driving license, B category, mandatory
