Job Summary:

Altair Pulse™ (https://altair.com/altair-pulse) is a low-code environment to construct and orchestrate engineering workflows involving many software tools from different sources. From the broad workflows required to simulate complex systems of systems to the detailed processes needed to enable fast, reliable, repeatable modeling, analysis, and optimization, Pulse ensures your team has always the right model, for the right decision, at the right time. it is an environment for rapid prototyping and developing applications in a low/no code fashion. 

Key features and capabilities include:

A digital thread that drives script consolidation, process commonization, and data traceability for simulation key performance indicators (KPIs) across the enterprise, and throughout the product lifecycle.Digitizing best practices to increase team efficiency and analysis consistency, while reducing procedural errors and non-value-added time. More effort can be invested in using simulation to inform performance targets, evaluate attribute trade-offs, and explore what-if scenarios.Boosting efficiency by using multiple scripting languages to eliminate repetitive tasks across applications, even for complex processes.

What You Will Do:

Define and own the roadmap and strategy for Altair One™ digital engineeringAssess current competitor offerings, seeking opportunities for differentiationAppraise new product ideas and strategize appropriate go-to-market plansCapture and communicate product specifications based on user insights, business objectives and industry trendsSpecify high level product requirements for the engineering teamPlan and carry out product releases by collaborating with engineering, QA and production engineering teamsProvide marketing with insights on key differentiators and messagesCollaborate with marketing and sales team on product launches and collateral development

What You Will Need:

Basics:

Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.Exposure to Workflow Engines and Tools (Execution and Authoring Environments)A good understanding of Engineering simulations, virtual prototyping and typical engineering workflows is requiredHands on experience in specifying product requirements to the engineering teamsStrong customer focus and a good understanding of industry trendsCross-functional, multi-cultural team managementGood written and verbal communication combined with strong presentation skillsAutomate everything mindset and a keen eye for user experience

Preferred:

Experience with MBSE tools/processes and requirement management software is desirableExperience in managing and delivering scalable enterprise grade solutions.
