We are seeking a Sales Manager, Screening Equipment & Products to join our team. You will be responsible to perform as the market area sales champion for all products under the screening product range including equipment, parts & media solutions. In this position, you will report to Manager, Technical Sales Support - Consumable Products.

 

This position is mainly located in Canada and can work remotely. Travel for this position can be upwards of 50%.

 

What you’ll do

 

Through close collaboration with the Canadian Services Sales teams and the Screening business line, develop a clear understanding of the market area competencies, activities, needs and future opportunities for the development and achievement of yearly sales plans and quarterly rolling estimates. Owner of the Open proposal list for screening products for both Capital and aftermarket opportunities. Provide the interface between product support, factories, distribution center, and sales team to manage all activity needed to drive growth. Actively assist account management team with on-site sales presentations, demonstrations & negotiations with customers in order to achieve business plan. Owner of the development of Market Area List Prices (MALP) for screening products Collect and maintain competitive pricing information by continuously monitoring won/lost quotes and actively communicating with all stakeholders about competitive activity. Collaborates with different technical sales support teams, to identify opportunities for sales packages and new product development and create and maintain technical sales material such as Sales Manuals, Specification, Sales Drawings and Product Presentations. Attends and participates in exhibits and meetings as requested by the VP Services. Works with the Services sales management and marketing communications teams to develop effective marketing programs to maximize creation of new business opportunities.

 

Who you are

 

Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Mineral Processing Engineering or equivalent sales management and/or product support related experience. Previous sales, operations or product support and/or applications experience in construction or mining related industry is preferred. Minimum 5 years’ sales, operations or product support experience in progressively responsible positions is required.  Specific experience with Mineral Processing Equipment including Screens & Crushers strongly preferred. Possess a sense of urgency to both internal & external customer problems & concerns. Excellent oral/written communication skills, organizational, problem solving & troubleshooting skills required. Good Computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft software products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and CRM software such as Salesforce
