Product Manager Shanghai

We are recruiting for an experienced Product Manager based in Shanghai, China. This role is to be the Therapy Owner for the Prevention and Chronic Wound Management and Healing Therapeutic Area, be responsible for commercialization of all related products on customer-centric basis to meet business objectives.
PURPOSE OF POSITION
1) Develop marketing strategy, key message and tactical plan to define the key strategic focus for wound care based on the in-depth market analysis and understanding.
2) Based on the strategy, set guidance and proactively communicate with the sales team to deliver annual revenue targets.
3) Be responsible for the therapy portfolio management, include the existing portfolio lifecycle management and investigate on new portfolio development based on customer needs.
4) Keep track of local market trends and competitors updates
5) Continuously investigate customers’ needs and market segmentation to fully satisfy customers
6) Good team collaboration to maximize business opportunity.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Brand Building
To build the Molnlycke brand through academic awareness and education programmes, innovative promotional programmes.
2. Strategy development
a) To develop marketing strategies including customer segmentation and geographical segmentation strategies conjunction with regional sales mangers under the supervision of Marketing Manager.
b) To develop value propositions and differentiate MHC product features/benefits from competition and create internal MHC positioning logic, hereunder careful analysis and decision making around pricing of new and existing products.
c) To analyse on customer intelligence
3. Activation Execution & Supervision
a) To develop China specific marketing materials including product inserts, labels, marketing brochures, give-aways etc. in accordance with MHC policies and guidelines and in alignment with RA.
b) To develop cycle promotional plan and consolidate customer complaint reports and provide feedback to both Asia Pacific Marketing Manager and RA
c) To effectively manage external vendors to ensure they offer quality service with competitive pricing
d) To continuously ensure that the sales team receives product and solution training enabling them to successfully drive the business development in line with agreed strategies - and measure their level of understanding.
4. Ensure Abundant Supply
a) To monitor and drive sales teams focus to achieve desired product listing, strategic account development and ensure balanced portfolio and continuously provide reliable input to cross functional information systems such as the forecasting system.
b) To ensure product availability and monitor forecasts as necessary throughout life of the product lines ensuring they are as accurate and up to date as possible; maintain update competitive information (products, regulatory status, promotion, prices, etc).
5. Portfolio Management
a) In charge of the existing portfolio lifecycle management.
b) Investigate on new portfolio development based on customer needs and launch new products following the company's launch excellence principles
6. KOL Management
To actively develop and utilize speaker pool of KOLs in relevant areas in cooperation with the sales team and Asia Pacific Marketing Manager to optimize exposure of MHC in the marketplace.
7. New Business Opportunity Development:
To explore the appropriate new business opportunity.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:
5+ experience roles in medical device or pharmaceutical industries
Good at market research and customer insight generation
Good at strategic thinking
Solid experience in KOL development and management
Excellent at presentation and analysis
Excellent sales and clinician customer facing communication
Open minded, Fast learning, Innovative
Strong leadership, excellent team player
Excellent written English and Good at English speaking and listening.
Sales background is a strong plus
MBA degree is a plus
Medicine background is a plus
