We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced, and highly driven Product Manager to lead our Special Programs Management solutions in New York and New Jersey. These solutions help educators efficiently and effectively serve their students with special needs. You would help steer the solution roadmap and drive all components from ideation through design, deployment, and operations while working in an exciting, fast-paced, agile environment.  

  

This role reports to the Group Product Manager, Special Programs Management and works closely with Development, Architecture, UX Design, Sales, Customer Success, and Strategic Partners to deliver solutions that simplify the daily work life of the front line of education.  

 

What a Product Manager does at Frontline Education:  

Lives in the software product backlog, owning, creating, refining, and prioritizing business requirements  Collaborates with multiple scrum teams to estimate, groom, and plan for the highest priority features  Participates in backlog grooming and prioritization and recurring scrum ceremonies, including stand-ups and retrospectives  Conducts customer validation sessions to ensure prioritized features meet customer needs  Provides support, decision-making, and validation during design and development  Ensures requirements, project status, and release notes are properly documented  Trains and supports internal stakeholders on existing, under development, and new feature/function  Works collaboratively with the Frontline product teams to support product vision and strategy  Communicates with clarity across multiple stakeholders, collaborates with business partners and development teams, to provides support in companywide decisions  Informs on plans, status, and progress against key performance indicators (KPIs) with both external and internal stakeholders  Partners with the UX team through research and customer validation to ensure we are solving problems in the right way   Participates in customer-facing situations and user conferences as a product expert  Leads new product launches from start to finish  Ensures the voice of the customer permeates all aspects of the product development process  Develops and monitors KPIs to ensure strong client and business outcomes   Collaborates and supports strategic partnerships with Regional Information Centers (RICs), Boards of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES), and third-party vendors to enhance overall value to clients

Required Qualifications: 

3-5 years in Product Management designing and delivering world-class software products  Proven expertise leading cross-functional teams that together launch on-time and on-budget  Experience with a SaaS application, preferably a special education application   Bachelor degree in a Business, Computer Science or related field  Experience with Agile development methodologies  K-12 experience highly regarded  Special education experience in New York or New Jersey is a plus, especially experience with IEP Direct
