Job Summary:

We have a very exciting opportunity for a Product Manager for the Terminal Products Portfolio to join our team.  You will be responsible for supporting the terminal products strategies/roadmaps, managing the products throughout their lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining product vision, and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver growth. You will also work with Sales, Marketing and Product Support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Manager’s role also includes ensuring that the product and marketing efforts support the company’s overall strategy and goals. Your analytical skills will allow you to make decisions around the product lines to accelerate profitable growth. You will be fully responsible for – and accountable to – meeting or exceeding Trane Technologies’ revenue growth targets, maintaining or growing market share, while expanding margin.

Responsibilities: 
Align Product Growth Team (PGT) around shared vision and drive winning culture throughout the teamEnsure PGT is using standard work for strategy, in-line management, TLME and GDLOProduct Life-Cycle Management-Understanding of how products move through their lifecycle and how to maximize margin at each stageProduct and Process Requirements – Capable of developing requirements for new products and processes utilized to rapidly grow market share and expand marginsSales and Marketing — Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.Customer and Channel Strategy – Capable of analyzing end user and channel segments to identify and target the most profitable segmentsPricing Strategy- Determine pricing objectives, policies and strategies. Review competitor data to assess correctness of pricing. Ensure that the pricing strategy balances the need to increase market share and maximize profit margins. Review and assess prices continually to ensure they are competitive, profitable, and consistent. Ensure that the pricing strategy is consistent with the business strategyFinance and Cost Accounting — Knowledge of finance and accounting principles and practices, and the analysis and reporting of financial dataData Analysis — Knowledge of statistics, and its applications to analyzing dataBusiness Acumen — Knowledge of principles of business strategy and execution including product/portfolio management strategies, supply chain management and financial indicatorsCommunications and Media — Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods. Qualifications:
BS Engineering, Business, or other related technical degreeMBA preferredA minimum of 5 years of experience in Product Management or 6+ years in closely related rolesExperience in the HVAC industry and Lean experience preferredStrong analytical skills

Base Compensation Range is $120,000 - $180,000.
